Quick service, food was hot and tasty. We had the fried fish, country fried steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli rice casserole.... My only complaint is that there isn't much seasoning in the dishes, besides salt (plenty of that.) But I guess that's to beexpected for southern style fast food. Just dined in for dinner. Place was moderately busy. Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and looked me in the eye-... which is a good sign to me. The guy behind the counter who appeared to be a manager was super efficient at his job. He wasn'twearing a name tag but said he'd been there "8 or 9 years." Hoping management sees this and gives the guy a raise. Read more
The food was very good. The chicken breast that I got was very large but the side portions were very small. Corn muffin was a... little burnt on the side. Restaurant was clean and welcoming. So overall good experience. Read more
Never had an issue here. The quality is consistent and the service has always been great. Will continue to go here for my fast... soul food cravings. Still recommend the hamburger steak and gravy. I don't normally like green beans but they have donesomething right so give em a shot. Read more
I asked my 2 roommates if I could buy them lunch today, and lunch we went. We decided on abbays today, for I have only been to... the olive branch location. I enjoy their veggies and got fish with cabbage and fried spicy broccoli. The other 2 got beef tipswith their sides. We had a 4th party stop by and ate with us also and she had baked chicken. I will say the tea is fresh therestaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I have enjoyed the 2 times I have eaten here. Read more
OMG this place was amazing. I'd compare the ordering experience to Chipotle. You choose your main/meat from a HUGE amount of... choices, then your sides from an equally large list. The prices are reasonable, the portions are adequate (thankfully not aplace that overfeeds you - although you can order more if you're extra hungry). The employees seem to enjoy working there, whichmade the customer service great. Most importantly, the food...well, the food sent me to another plane of existence, where itwas just me and my plate, floating among the stars. Read more
This was my first time having Abbay?s. I must say, they have a forever customer here! I ordered the Baked wings with three... veggies sides. My sides were double broccoli and rice casserole and green beans. I got the roll and cornbread with my meal alongwith a medium Hi-C fruit punch to wash it down. It was fresh and delicious. The food is seasoned to perfection. NOT SALTY! Butseasoned! The chicken was not dry. I loved it!! Try them out you will not be disappointed ?? Read more
