A friend and I have been to this place a couple of times and the lobster rolls truly are delicious (we got the Hampton roll,... pictured, and the Classic roll). Both visits, we found that the cashier as well as the pick-up window staff seemed apathetic.Communication was very poor both visits, without so much as a greeting, smile, or Thank you during any interaction. Today afterwe received our food we found all 3 rolls were missing the advertised side of chips, and the sweet corn was missing theadvertised butter. When we asked the pick-up window staff about the chips, we were informed that they had run out - despite noheads up, offered price adjustment, nor offered alternatives by the cashier. For $31-$38 dollars a roll, it was shocking thatthey didn't even bother to mention the lack of the side. We also noticed other customers also being surprised at their missingsides. Every single interaction with the staff was disappointing; it's clear that none of the staff have succeeded in a customerservice role previously. It's a shame that the customer service is the downfall of this experience; we love the food but willhave to explore other options in the area. Read more
We went on a rainy day and it was still very busy. Be patient, they don't have everything sitting under a heat lamp or wrapped... in the refrigerator waiting for you, they make it fresh for you but you need to have patience because they do a good job andmake quality not fast food. It was 100% delicious. I had a Hampton shark size and it was wonderful. I brought home a crab cakefor later and it was great too. My relatives with me were equally delighted. The people working there were very nice, I enjoyedthem and they seem very proud of their place as they should! Someone less shy than me should sit their butt down and take a picwith that shark sculpture that was cute, and the tables are painted with fun paintings about lobsters and their menuitems. It's so cute, the people really nice and the food is great. But don't go, I want to make sure I get a parking spot whenI go back! Read more
HANDS DOWN THE BEST LOBSTER ROLL IN THE HAMPTONS!!!! My hunnnies and I head out east always searching for the BEST FOOD namely... the BEST LOBSTER ROLL. I found this place online the week we were staying in Southampton. This is the first time in forever,especially of trying all different lobster rolls elsewhere that me and my FAM were SOOOO IMPRESSED!!! First off, they give youSOOOO MUCH LOBSTER!!! Typically most lobster rolls have lots of filler stuff BUT not this one!!! I was SO EXCITED to try basedon the pictures on google that I opted for the largest size roll!! I forget the name but there are 3 sizes to choose from!GOOOOO FOR THE BIG!!! Then even if that is a lot of food for you, don?t stop there!!! You MUST get the lobster bisque!!!Normally I never order lobster bisque out because typically it?s just broth with a ?few? if any lobster pieces, NOT THIS ONE!!!This was the CHUNKIEST lobster bisque I ever had!! In fact, this too was the BEST LOBSTER BISQUE OF THE HAMPTONS. So whetheryour appetite is big or large, ORDER BOTH!! You won?t be disappointed!! ~ take it home if need be!!! The best lobster roll I?ve ever had! The ambiance of a road side eatery, and the magnificence of the shinnecock lobster roll was... enough to place me in another dimension whilst eating it. The addition of the street corn complimented the lobster rollsperfectly. Service was friendly and quick, and prices are fair, and portions are great. Fantastic experience, can?t wait toreturn here! We love lobster rolls so stopped by here and picked up the Hamptons (warm butter and chives) and Diavolo (spicy pomodoro sauce).... The rolls were delicious and the chips (they tasted homemade) were amazing. The portions were big (we got the Whale; 8oz oflobster) and they def didn't skimp. The lobster was fresh, but unfortunately every other bite was overcooked and a bit rubbery. We thought the pomodoro sauce was great and the chives were fresh. We may have to come back and give this place another try whenwe are back in town. The lady who took our order was a bit rude/unfriendly but that could have been because another customerthat ordered before us was extremely rude. Might be one of the best lobster rolls I?ve ever had. I got the Hampton roll and boy oh boy this thing was good. The roll was... buttery and has just the right amount of crisp. Lobster was fresh and full of flavor. The chips too? need a 10lb bag of themdelivered to my door yesterday. Oh and we got it delivered and it still was 10/10. Read more
Had the lobster roll BLT style which was very good. The bacon adds some delicious flavor to the lobster. The options of how you... want your lobster roll were a nice change from the typical hot/cold options. Wasn?t thrilled with the lobster fritters. Wasn?tplentiful for the price. 1 big one and a bunch of small not very lobster filled. Overall food was good and I will be back forthe lobster rolls. Read more
Good food. Ordered the shark (medium) shinnecock lobster roll, side of corn, and the lobster salad. Food was good but the bread... roll and lettuce was not very fresh. Bread tasted a little stale and the arugula jn salad was wilting and turning yellow.Standard given a lobster shack but it would?ve been so so good if it was fresher. Corn was delicious and sweet.
