Went here on a whim for coffee and avocado toast. The cold brew was excellent?flavorful and strong. The avocado toast was... pricey, as it tends to be, but it felt substantial. The feta they used on it tasted great, and there?s attention to detail toadd the right spice. I?d also like to compliment the service, which was also excellent. We went there for a cruise night with our car. They have awesome spiked slushies. And very good food and friendly atmosphere and... workers. The entertainment was decent, they were good with the songs they had on their playlist. They said they took requestsbut never played a song that I requested. Dog friendly too! Read more
As an avid coffee drinker, Birdhouse is one of my favorites - their espresso is very good. They run seasonal specials & have a... variety of flavorings and milk offerings. Out of the dozens of times I have been, I have only ever had one latte that justtruthfully wasn?t good. My fiancé and I stop by relatively often & recently we took advantage of their happy hour specials. Atfirst, I ordered a spicy sausage flatbread & house made chips and fries ($5 each - good deal!) I?m not a huge fan of pepperswhich I didn?t realize the flatbread had those but it was still tasty! The house made chips were decent as well - I LOVED theranch. We took advantage of their fry flight (oh my goodness - what a portion!) which was enjoyable as well. As someone who veryrarely drinks, I ordered the buzzed blueberry (spiked lemonade, vodka, blueberries, and lemonade) which was delicious. I believetheir ranch is made in house and one thing I had noticed was that the ranch that was served with the chips had less dill thanthe one served with the fries. Consistency is key but other than that, I highly recommend checking them out if you?re ever inthe area. CT Valley Brewery attached is also a must try as well! Read more

I stopped in here for some coffee with friends on a Sunday morning and hadn't been here since the winter. I was happy to see all... the changes they made with added food, cute decorations and more drink options. The line was HUGE! People definitely like thisplace and the adorable interior and outside seating I'm sure is a big driver of that. They have good food and drink options, butmy biggest issue is the pricing. A standard drip coffee ice coffee is $4, not including adding any flavors. A small corn muffinwas also $4 and other items on the menu seemed expensive for what you get. However, people seem to be willing to pay so whynot? Additionally there is not a very efficient process in this place which is why the line is so long. There is only oneregister and just not enough people to handle the volume of orders. I ordered online for pickup and no one was monitoring themobile order section so I actually looked at my order on the counter waiting for someone to come over to me. I was so excited to try this place, drove a half hour just because their photos look amazing on Instagram. I ordered the salted... caramel brownie latte and it was just a mocha latte, same with my friend who ordered the same exact drink. It wasn?t dressed upat all like the photo, there was no salted caramel drizzle on top or coco powder and the foam disappeared after the first sip.My cheesecake was good though, but I definitely wouldn?t travel a half hour one way again for just the coffee.
