These were the best lobster rolls and crab cakes that I?ve ever had! The views of the ocean waters and lobster boats is... something straight out of a movie. We were there during a thunderstorm and it just made the atmosphere that much better. Read more

Best lobster rolls we've had in Maine. A lot of meat & butter, very delicious. Simple surroundings with picnic tables... overlooking the harbor, felt very authentic with actual lobstermen nearby working on their boats & traps. Loved it! Read more

Sweet delicious lobster rolls. And the oysters are equally as good and fresh. The lobster rolls were filled with meat I only... wish the large pieces had been cut smaller. Well worth the trip and lovely spot. Bring a hat and sunscreen not much shade. Read more

We arrived right before noon on a Tuesday and we got one of the last parking spots available. The entire time we ate there were... people circling trying to find a spot. So if possible -- get here early! If you sit close to where we were in the photo you geta great view of the workers grabbing crates of lobsters that they store straight in the water. So cool! We split the $44 RollsRoyce Lobster Roll and a cup of the clam chowder. We'd tried 5 different lobster rolls throughout our vacation, and without adoubt THIS ONE is the best we'd ever had. HUGE pieces of lobster with it mainly being claw meat. Pour the drawn butter on top,it's next level. I will have literal dreams about this lobster roll. The clam chowder was thinner than others I'd had on thetrip and was just okay. Not pictured is the wild blueberry sticky pudding that we had after -- OMG. It was INCREDIBLE. Saveroom for dessert! Good price and absolutely immaculate environment!! The place is so much cuter than it looked like on google photos. It?s super... chill and people bring their own drinks to pair it with their orders from this place. Was recommended by our cruise tour guide- he?s a local and he said this is in his opinion - the best lobster roll! Read more

Found this place at the top of a list of best lobster rolls in Maine and it did not disappoint. If you're traveling on Route 1... it's less than a 15 minute detour away and well worth it. Perfectly toasted bun with a bit of mayo, full of delicious lobstermeat with no fillers like celery, and butter served on the side. Also comes with chips, a pickle, and coleslaw. The line movedquickly and the order was ready in just a few minutes. Read more

Definitely go to this fantastic lobster shack right on a beautiful picturesque bay... we got a fantastic spot on the water in... lobster trap rocking chairs. Huge amount of lobster in the sandwich, and the blueberry bread pudding was ridiculously amazing(we got an extra to bring home). I appreciated no single use plastic silverware and a cold water refill station.!. So glad afriend recommended it to us on our trip. Read more

Call us CRAZY but we sure did drive 4 hours from Boston just to try their fresh lobsters!! We were not disappointed at all. We... tried some lobster rolls in Boston before making the trip here and after tasting McLoons? lobster roll and fresh lobster, youwill want to eat all you can! Their lobster meat is fresh and sweet. The texture of fresh lobster is so different. We alsotried their blueberry bread pudding and it is just as good. This place wasn?t busy on Wednesday so we got a great seatoverlooking the bay and the weather was just perfect that day. The staff there are friendly and they bring the food out to youwhile you lounge outside enjoying the beautiful scenery. We stopped at a few other places along the way to McLoons so this tripis worth it. Read more
