Whenever I'm sick I order nilaga from here. It's the only thing that truly soothes my sore throat. It's so good. Closest thing... to grandma's cooking. Read more

Looks like a ghost town outside because of the lack of lights, but everything is great inside! Drop by sometimes to try Filipino... foods or at least enjoy the ambiance of 70s-90s restaurants of Manila. Read more

We have been coming for years. Tonight we had the daing na bangus and it was very wrong. It was pink inside, hard, and smelled... like a fish yard on a hot day. I ate half and don't feel great. We called to complain but all they said is they'll tell the chefand ended the conversation. Unfortunately they've lost our family of customers Read more

Tocino was delicious. Great char and flavor. Not too fatty but good amount for very juicy delicious pork. Lechon kawalli was a... good crispy, not too fatty again and I really liked it and the sauce it came with. Sisig pork - also great char and flavor here.Had leftovers and this made for amazing quesadilla filling ???? Pancit seafood or something - looked a bit bland but I actuallyreally liked the noodles. Had a good depth in the flavor surprisingly. Lumpia Shanghai was not bad but not as good as some otherplaces (chibog does amazing lumpia) Read more

Fabulous little resto that serves authentic Phillipino cuisine. Decent sized dining area perfect for eating alone, with a few or... for large groups. Regular entrée dishes and desserts or you can experience the Kamayan feast, (delicious food served on bananaleaves no utensils), which we had. Tasty Bangus fish, lumpia, veggies, white rice, crispy pork belly, juicy Mango chunks, BBQchicken and a half a dozen different sauces to accentuate our meal. Very reasonably priced.. Highly recommend this great placeto eat! Read more

No frills Filipino restaurant serving all the standard favorites, from breakfast items (x-silog) to classics like sinigang,... adobo, and diniguan. Portions are family size for a decent price, and the food is authentic and tasty. Haven't tried the kamayan(eat with your hands!) but that should be something fun to try if you're bored with your spoon and fork. Their approach toservice is pretty laid back, but that's not a problem with this casual, local setup. Read more

The food is still good but it was as great when we first came here 8 or 9 years ago. We ordered halo-halo as desert, and the... shaved ice is not as fine as other halo-halo places we've been to. We were craving for sisig, Ongpin's versions is too salty, could hardly taste the vinegar. Read more
