Ordered the galbi + seafood tofu soup combo ($33) and the Mama's special stew ($21). For the price, the quantity was very... little. There were only 6 pieces of galbi and the soup size was the size of a fist. Food was tasty though. The stew tasted likeborscht soup. Quite unique and didn't taste like anything I've eaten in Korea. It was overseasoned with herbs though and on themore sour side. Overall, tasty food but could improve with better pricing/quantity. Read more

I love mom's tofu house but this location is very mediocre. Besides the nice interior the food is very meh. Got budae jigae and... it was so salty. The beef hot stone bowl just taste like sesame oil without much flavor. Their buchan is also meh but the radishwas good. Read more

I went to Mom's tofu house before at its previous location in south city as well as the millbrae location. While both times... weren't great visits, I was stunned by my visit to the recent opening of this new location. It's located downstairs in thebuilding, with a long interior with lots of tables. We ordered the spicy chicken wings, japchae, seafood pancake, and bulgogitofu soup (under mom's favorites, not spicy tofu soup). The sides came out really quick and our food soon after. The chickenwings weren't too spicy but still had a nice flavor to them. The japchae was probably my favorite as you could taste the qualityof the dish. The seafood pancake was huge and had a wide variety of seafood in it. Unfortunately, we were unimpressed by thebulgogi tofu soup. The waitress had mentioned it wasn't going to be the same as the usual tofu soup, but we understood that. What we were more disappointed about was that we had expected something similar to the photo in the menu, but the dish did notresemble it at all. I think we would have rather had gotten a regular tofu soup at that point. The prices of these dishes arealso a lot more than most korean restaurants. However, the quality of most of their dishes are really high. While I wouldprobably come again, I would not order the bulgogi tofu soup again. Read more

Mom?s tofu is hands down my favorite restaurant in South San Francisco. I used to frequent the old location before they... relocated. When I heard they were opening a new location, I was very excited. Excellent food and fantastic, friendly service. The secret behind their silken soft tofu is it that the tofu is made fresh on site. Furthermore, the rice is made to order. That?s right, the rice is prepared fresh for you. Portion sizes are filling and the side dishes are refreshing. Mom?s tofu islocated downstairs inside the building. Give them a try! Read more

Amazing food. I never got to try the old location, but new location is amazing and the food and service is amazing. I got the... Galbi and soft tofu soup combo. They make their own tofu in house. I can come here everyday after my workouts. A lot of food forthe value. Definitely recommend as one of best Korean spots in the Bay Area. Read more
