Asked for a BLT on sourdough bread. Lady waved her hand over the condiments and add-ons and I said ?just mayo?. She grabbed the... mustard and slathered that on the bottom piece and slathered pesto and garlic spread on the top. Someone spoke up for me andsaid I just wanted mayo, so the lady grabbed a huge glob of mayo and tried covering the entirety of the mustard with mayo. Shethen waved her hand over the condiments and add-ons again and I just shook my head and said no? so she grabbed the bacon fromthe microwave, put it on the bread, closed the sandwich, and wrapped it. Where?s my Lettuce and Tomato? I only have a B, noLT? Also, I walked out due to frustration, but my sandwich was paid for by my coworker without my knowledge after I walked out.Sad times. Read more

Pure bliss! We were visiting from out of state and this was the top stop for us. I wasn't ready for how great the sandwiches... would be. We got 4 total subs: Italian salami, the tri tip, turkey, and the shrimp (served only Tuesdays and Fridays). I'mstill dreaming of them. The Dutch crunch bread was perfect and the ingredients were fresh. The sammies put us in a food coma.Worth the money you pay for them. The garlic sauce is what pulls everything together. Grew up in SF and I?ve never been! Always heard about it but never got around to going. Driving home from Tanforan and saw the... little Lucca sign. We had to go! There was a line out the door, it went quickly and everyone was masked. We ordered twosandwiches on fresh Dutch crunch. We got the 3 meat with cheese and a roast beef, both with the garlic sauce. Oh man, it was sogood and it was huge!! Can?t wait to go again next time we visit! Read more
This place is really cute and perfect for a quick lunch. If there?s no line and no one in the line trying to customize a large... order. The sandwich makers are really fast. There?s a large selection of ingredients and hot and cold options. All of thesandwiches are made in front of you on the line. It?s small inside and things can quickly get cramped. The only complaint I haveis they use low quality, paper thin, already cooked bacon. I?d be willing to pay more for a superior quality bacon that?s cookedin-house.
