I got food poisoning from this place from something as simple as a salad. The fact that they can serve those kind of vegetables... to paying customers show how much dignity they have. First, they are way too pricey. Just for me and my 3 kids it?s came to $54... with the veggies they use in their sushi they... should only be charging $6 or $7. Second, The meat they serve here is VERY concerning. I?ve been vegan for over 4 years and notonce have I seen the ?vegan chicken? they serve in a store. If you tear it apart it looks exactly like real chicken.. maybe agenetically modified chicken. The last time my husband ordered take out I was eating a vegan beef entree and saw a piece thatlooks exactly like a piece of pork. Called to see if they served any regular meat platters and the guy affirmed it was allvegan. Veggie house has gone downhill this year, but I continued to support because I felt bad about COVID negatively affecting local... businesses. Two times this summer when picking up food the person working wasn't wearing a mask- they forgot items in our orderboth times too. Food wasn't very good and worth how expensive it is. I enjoyed this place. I'm not a vegetarian but was satified with the food. I had the lemongrass chicken and a crunchy sushi roll... and it was pretty good. My gf had the pad thai with tofu and vegas roll. The vegas roll i think was a bit better than thecruchny roll. I would suggest this for both vegetarians and non. Great place to go to with your veg and vegan friends if you'rea mixed crowd. Read more
This was such a great find!!! I love it!!! The food is so fresh and well seasoned! (Which lets be truthful, a lot of vegetarian... places don't do well). The staff is so friendly and quick! I absolutely love Veggie house! It is my go to restaurant in Salt Lake. Amazing asian cuisine all vegan and plenty of Gluten... Free options as well. My favorite is the tofu pho. Read more
