In a food coma as I write this! I really thought I would be looking for meat or the taste of meat. This did not... disappoint. This take-out spot is narrow and can get very busy, especially on the weekend. Once you walk in you're hit with thedelicious smell of food. The price is reasonable and the food is delicious. I did want to point out the one negative reviewabout the customer service and attitude. This is not true, the person who wrote this may have been on a power trip coming inbecause I am clearly not West Indian and I was welcomed nor treated any different than their own. Action Bronson was not lying about the amazing food. Oh... MY! I had the mac 'n' cheese, rice with raisins, and two "meat"... dishes with more vegetables in them. It was busy and loud and I just picked what looked good. SSSOOOOO good. I'm not vegan, justbelieve good food is good food. Of the two "meat" dishes I'm confident I could take them to an outing and I don't think mostpeople could tell. I do not live near Richmond Hills, but fine is to be a good excuse to take a pilgrimage west. What's great about this place is... meat eaters and non meat eaters can both be satisfied here. Their food is familiar enough for everyone. From Asian noodles, torace and beans, veggie choices to even mac and cheese. The protein choices simulate meat. There is even a mock chicken drumstickvariety. I like the curry chicken. The only thing that keeps me from eating in more often is the price. My large meal came withthree sides and two proteins. That takeaway container was $20. I have a persistent sweet tooth so I always get cake when I go.For my fellow purveyors of sugary snacks, please be aware that the cakes probably aren't a texture that you are used to. Thesecakes are very dense. They're not light and fluffy like the egg contain cousins. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't make it bad.They're just not light and airy. They are more heavy. I suggest letting them warm up a little bit to room temperature and noteating them cold from the refrigerator. That is when they are the hardest. Awesome knock it down with a nice warm drink like teaor coffee. Please keep in mind those looking for date night, you will be eating this in your car as they do not have a diningarea.
