I was there 2 weeks ago with my Bf and his family for Lunch. We ordered our food, we had a very friendly waitress. when she... brought our food - I Noticed a hair on the rim of the plate. I said something not sure if she heard me or not - but my Bf familysaid ? it?s ok don?t say anything to her mistakes happen? which tends to happen. Not going to disagree. ( she had her hairopened down). But I honestly feel that management needs to reinforce that all waitress must wear a net to protect their hairfrom falling into peoples food / plate. Someone else might have made a ugly scene for such poor quality. I know they want todisplay their beauty for attraction while serving - but keeping your hair underneath a net might save you from getting badreviews, and maybe losing customers. I mean - whenever we go to Queens we always look forward for Hibiscus food, and goodquality service's of course ( Excellent food )!!! We love eating here and I hope next time when we go back they have on theirhair net. Thank you! Read more
I had food here on a 3 occasions because my dad bought it. I would never go buy this on my own. The first time I had it never... liked it. My cousin was craving some guyanese chinese unfortunately chef quang (check them out) was closed early. He bought thisinstead. It was extremely tasteless like where is the flavor? Completely disappointed. I'm visitor from out of town with my girls. Looking forward to good Guyanese food and good service and... was completely let down. Ordered the fried bangamary and fried shark and chips. Absolutely no flavor. Just fried and sent out. The plates provided were dirty. Another table pointed out the same problem An hour later waiting for our main dish - notreceived but tables that arrived after us received their food. Finally asked for our food to go and the bill. Advised thewaitress of her poor service. Looking at our bill we were charged 18% gratituity. For what service I asked? She said forbringing our drinks. Condescending throughout this conversation with no apology just a BS excuse that she was serving others.Stay far away from this place. They don't value customers. Food tasted stale and soggy. Bar hostess was rude and unprofessional. I spent about $100 on food and I would definitely not... recommend this place. My chicken was dry and stale. My house special fried rice had little specs of chicken in it, tray was halfempty without 1/4 chicken on top. There food is trash and so is there service. Go to Cabana instead everyone!!!! Read more
Food was nasty,this place should have zero star ,I ordered chicken fried rice and chowmein, food looks like leftovers that was... cooked numerous times along with chicken which was stiff and hard,there is feathers on chicken ,called and spoke to manager,shedidn't even cared ,no apology and just hang up the phone, this place just cared about your money. This place used to be good way back in the day. Service is lacking and the food is just not as good. Our server Rebecca just... didn't seem interested in being at work or serving us or any of her other tables. She kept going to the door to talk to 2teenagers that were sitting by the door, they may have been her kids, I'm not sure, but she was definitely more interested inthem. We had placed our order for drinks and her attitude wasn't welcoming at all. Our drinks took a while to come and when itdid arrive we placed our order for an appetizer and entrees. All the food came but the appetizer never arrived. Only until afterwe all ate, my dad mentioned the appetizer and she clearly forgot. The black pudding didn't taste fresh at all and tasted likeit was just heated in the microwave because she forgot. I won't be returning here. Read more
