Having lived in NYC for a few years, I was so happy to find this place, I had such high expectation, but to be honest it's the... worst deli I've been to in Maine... Bagel: Stale, overtoasted to compensate French dip sandwhich: UNEDIBLE ( terrible bread, lowquality tasteless meat). We threw most of our meal out... Absolutely delicious! Found my new sandwich shop. Wish the potato salad was a larger serving but the food quality is great!
I ordered online, and when I walked in, the place was SLAMMED. 15+ people waiting for food, 25+ people waiting in line. Everyone... working the line was crushing it, and the (presumable) manager being very communicative about the orders being made. They evengave me extra sides for the wait (only 10 more minutes). The food is usually good. Customer service is lacking. My co -workers and I ordered from them today. On of the items left out... when we picked up. We call about it and was told that they would bring it to us. An hour later nothing. Called to see if theywere still going to bring it. I was rudely that we would have to come get it. Then told it was taken off the bill and hung upon. I was going to come get it but too late now. will not recommend due to poor customer service Read more
Phenomenal. Hand made baked bread daily and the best marble Rye bread I've ever had. I highly recommend their coney island... Reuben. It's absolutely delicious. The seating is open and the atmosphere is great. I love their menu board as well. Nice touch!Their French dip is also amazing. The poppy seeds on the baguette add a nice touch. 5 stars from me!! Today was my first time visiting this restaurant on the recommendation of a coworker, and I was not... disappointed. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The smell of fresh bread and the meats and cheeses make you salivate on entry.I tried the Coney Island Rueben and it was the best I've ever had hands down. The place was absolutely packed during the lunchhour which is always a good indication to the popularity of this place. The quality of the ingredients and the hospitality ofthe employees makes Heidi's a must for anyone looking to experience great food and service. Read more
This was a great lunch experience! On my lunch break I stopped in and the rueben was phenomenal!! It was tasty and made me want... another. It had a good mix of every ingredient and the marbled rye was fresh. My only gripe is that the other time I had them,the breakfast burrito was a 6.8/10. It's flavors were on the blander side but it wasn't horrible, definitely filling but I'vehad better. Overall this place is a 4/5 and I'd go again! Read more
