My family and I just had a late dinner at 5 guys in South Portland. The burgers were Vert tasty but we froze in the dinning. We... kept our coats on and we were still freezing. I have no idea why but their wait times are just ridiculous. If you don't know what a wait time is, it means that when it's... busy, they hold your food from you even if it's ready; I've had to wait 45 mins before. Wait times are the reason you get servedcold food at any fast food places, but this is too far. I have no idea why this is even a thing... Just give us the food! Ps.Watch the person by the end of the assembly line (where the fryolator is) and you'll see them looking up. They're looking at ascreen that counts down the release of your food from stale jail. Placed (pickup) order today. 330pm 10/4. Was not busy at all.. I asked one nice girl with dark hair for a cup she said yes. This... other girl ran across from to go ordering and yelled he can't have a cup it's not on his order. I said its ok nevermind. I wasthen standing in a line with another guy waiting for our orders. The gentleman asks this same girl "Can you please put lesssalt?" She's standing 4 feet away from him and doesn't respond at all. Absolutely blank. He didn't speak back up. So I say didyou hear him? She says, "yes I did". I said... "You Don't respond to customers? is that a usual thing for you?" She says " Iwasn't doing his order." Just left the guy hanging. She had an (ugly ugly)attitude. Once again the food prices and customer service are much better than the Canadian franchises. Why must price and quality change... when an American restaurant comes across the border. Freshly cooked and made to order in minute's. Read more
Good food. Love the fries. The service - not so much. Cashier was very nice, but we were waiting in a long line and there was... one cashier. The cashier received a phone call from a customer putting in a phone order. He received help from a colleague toenter the phone order and everyone waiting in line had to wait while someone who phoned in and paid for their order over thephone. The two employees took care of the phone order. Why would a customer ever wait in line? You can phone in your order fromthe back of the line and make everyone in front of you wait. Amazing staff with spacious seating area. The location is perfect with enough parking. The best cheeseburger I?ve ever had. The... toilet is in good conditions, however some customers make a mess and leave it so it?ll be great if the staff check it regularlyto make sure it is well maintained. Read more
Excellent burgers and fries. Great place to bring the kiddos. Burgers are at least 9 dollars each so it's not cheap but they are... great burgers. The burger will be in the bottom of the bag with fries next to it in a cup overflowed to the point where all yousee is fries. So good! Read more
