Tried a new local spot. Saw it had great reviews and a variety of sides that are not the usual ones. Called the order in since... Uber eats didn?t allow a full menu. At pick up they had a hard time splitting the order cost wise. We offered to just run twoforms of payment then. It was a whole ordeal but we got it to work. After receiving items, was disappointed. I ordered the beefbrisket with bacon fried cabbage and collard greens. Beef brisket was mainly fat and chopped up! I?m used to sliced brisket. Thesides were a very small portion. Collard greens needed some southern love and cabbage was over cooked. Ordered pull pork withmac n cheese and coke slaw. Mac n cheese so dry and they used a penne pasta? Slaw was dry and no flavor waiter! Upset bc of theportion, quality and price paid! $40 for two small entrees. Will say the spicy bbq and the mustard based was excellent and theroll was soft and good. Update: Came back to try the jerk chicken and was greatly surprised by how they have spruced up the space while the food stays... TASTY! There is now a beautiful wooden picnic table with benches right in the front. AND in the back they now have a bar servingbeer with a few tables. Perfect if you can't wait to get home to dig into the food. We ordered the brisket and the jerk chickenthis time. Both were excellent. The sides were fantastic too. Love the baked beans and the greens. A great local gem operatedout of a window. We're excited to see a table and several chairs as we're famished and it smelled so good when we walked byafter coming off from the beach. We enjoyed the pulled pork and the potato salad. The brisket was our favorite - perfect withthe sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. We are looking forward to trying the jerk chicken next time. Read more

I lived in Kansas City and had some really great BBQ so I'm a bit biased. This isn't as good as some of the KC bbq but it is... good! Brisket was great, Mac and cheese was great! Ribs were a tad tough but decent. Read more
