We went here for the sunset view and we weren't disappointed. Food was great. Waitress was friendly and fun. We had a few small... issues with cold soup, wrong drink, and a dirty cup, but all were fixed quickly. Would definitely go here again! Larry was a warm welcome for 2 weary travelers! His service alone would've been 5 star worthy then he brought the delectable... food to the table!!! I had their highly regarded coconut shrimp with a mixed green salad topped crumbled feta and opted for thethe garlic vinaigrette to dress.... it was like biting into a piece of heaven with every, single morsel!!! The prices werereally reasonable for such a fine fare. We were moments of arriving into town from 1,000 miles away, we heard repeatedly aboutthe restaurant from various content creators for South Padres Island Must-Sees YouTube videos and this cozy yet scenic eaterydid not disappoint AT ALL. This is our 1st time here, we highly recommend this rare gem to visitors as a have-to-go restuarantyou won't be disappointed!!! Dog friendly! It was raining when we got there but we were still able to sit outside as they have large umbrellas above the... tables. We got the half nachos as an appetizer which is more than enough for four people. They were super delicious. I orderedthe coconut shrimp and it was great until I found a hair in my food! ): Our waitress didn’t charge us for my plate. Otherwise,everything was great. Our server was great, he brought some humor to our visit. I was very glad I spoke with the bartender earlier in the day, she... recommended the nachos but warned that they are a very large portion for the full order, even the half could easily be the mealfor 2 to 3 people. First time eating here. Everything was delicious! We had omelets, the waffle sandwich, and the French toast. Our waitress was... Annie and she was super sweet and we talked about how her aunts make the paintings and jewelry and her uncle made the musicalinstruments. We had a great time. Everyone was super friendly! Read more
Fun island stop on the bay side. Restaurant and bar, with tables on the balcony overlooking the water. This is basically an... outdoor restaurant, that has an open "indoor" section with fans. The day we went was overcast ?? and cool, so we weren'tsweating it out. I ordered the 6 beer battered shrimp with fries and my mom ordered the 10 piece coconut shrimp dinner platethat included a salad, coleslaw and one side. The shrimp ???? were delicious, and thick. Wonderful ending to our wk in S padre island with our rv . Reviews & pics looked yummy. Went ~ 4 pm & caught the HH $5 frozen... margarita & hubby had the raspberry iced tea ( both were so good). Our waiter Jesus was so nice & welcoming & we couldn’thave been more pampered. The blackened fish tacos with onion rings were the best I’ve ever had & hubbies fried shrimp &fries were also very good. The chocolate cake ( I only had 3 bites before hubby ate it all) was an overload of flavors moistness& tummy happiness ????
