4stars for their very generous portions. We got the Rooster, which came with a side of pancake or waffle. I loved that the... pancake can be plain, blueberry, or with fresh strawberries without any additional charge. Great service. My only recommendationbesides improving flavor is to improve water quality because it tasted very chlorinated. Because of that the drip coffee had thesame problem. Read more

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. it is packed mostly for breakfast and brunch. The staff is very helpful and nice! The food... was decent. Everything tasted good but my croissant was not fresh - I think it was stored in the freezer and reheated beforeserving. The tortilla chips were a little bit too soggy in my opinion, however, I enjoyed the way they seasoned them. The eggsBenedict on the left were the most delicious. I wish we tried Bloody Mary and their Mimosa but they are serving alcoholicbeverages only after 10 am! Read more

We ordered Fina?s French Toast Platter, a meat-lover?s omelet, and pancakes with eggs/bacon. Everything was delicious, hot and... fresh. The waitress was very friendly, and the place felt welcoming. Such a cute little cafe - we will definitely be back againnext time we are in the area! Read more

If there was 6..or 7 stars...to give...this would be the place. The very thing i would tell absolutely all Restaurant owners is... that if you want people stomping at your door for breakfast...IT WOULD ALL START WITH GOOD COFFEE...!!! And yes...the coffee wasamazing!!...\nThis place amazed me since my driving into the parking lot ..there was a wait...and i knew i was gonna wait..cause \"where\'s there\'s smoke..there must be fire \"....\nI run stag many a times..so i looked at the bar area..and asked ifi could enjoy my breakfast there..they said..ABSOLUTELY..\nI saw plates of food being brought out by servers from the kitchenarea..and I KNEW I HAD MADE THE RIGHT DECISION...FOOD SERVED LOOKED AAAMMAZZING!!.\nI looked over the menu and the prices werejust...WOOOWWW...prices were lower than what i would expect to pay for..for this quality of food and service...\nWaitress wasprompt..knowledgeable and helpful..The right or wrong attitude of your wait staff can MAKE..OR BREAK A PLACE...\nI ordered anomelet stuffed with chorizo..potatoes..and sautéed onions..IT DIDN\'T DISSAPOINT!! The fluffiness and quality of everyingredient was mesmerizing...\nThis place only used TOP ingredients on every single menu item served...You could say...i seeeverything..I WAS IMPRESSED..\nI can sincerely say...living here in this area and not knowing about this GEM of a place in SouthPadre Island..is a SIN..\nThis will be my absolute only place to have breakfast and lunch when i visit theIsland..PERIOD!!\nHere are some pictures of food i ate..and food brought out of kitchen i had a glimpse of..Enjoy!!\n\nMike Read more

This was the best breakfast/brunch stop. The service was outstanding and food amazing. We stopped on a whim and are not... disappointed. Our table ordered the Barbacoa Benedict and the Juan omelettes. We also had a pitcher of Mimosas, with pineapplejuice. So yummy! If your on the island stop in and try to sit in Miraya section she was so nice. Read more

Great spot on the sandbar. This joint has been many things over the years. Dirty AL really did a fantastic job working the menu.... This property has changed hands but the inside remains oddly familiar!! The menu is extensive for being post rona. The actualrestaurant seating area is a bit on the small side but still remains open and welcoming. The food is 99% of the time, consistent, flavourful, well presented, portioned correctly and definitely yummy! Our server was Mas Deep South Texas Friendly. The way you pay at the end is kinda strange. The server holds the device while it asks if you wanna add a tip?? Our server wouldhas gained more on a cash tip. Ooo Well..\nPlotted..Scouts Out. Read more

This gave Grapevine Cafe some serious competition. It?s definitely on my favorites list from the island and will always be part... of our itinerary moving forward. Exceptional food, friendly service, fabulous mimosas and a cute atmosphere. Well done! Read more

WOW, these were the best chilaquiles of my life. I couldn\'t believe they were only $10! It was maybe even my favorite meal of... 2021. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the chill atmosphere, it was not what I expected. Read more
