Good people running the place. Views are excellent. You are literally on the beach. Rooms are cozy and reasonably priced. Big... shout out to the best bartenders on South Padre Island, Michelle and Shane are fun to be around. They took very good care of usand made our stay very fun. They are pet friendly and the pet fee is resonable. If your in South Padre this should be yourdestination. Read more
Love this place! Beach access with a ramp. Lots of fun people playing music and enjoying life. The beds were comfortable and the... rooms clean. There were a few things that could be fixed but for a 2 star hotel I give it 5 stars. Read more
Positive: The staff was sweet and helpful. The location is great as well. There¿s a bar and food at the hotel. Those were... pluses. Negative: The room was disgusting and looked like it was just totally neglected. I could have booked a room at a nicehotel at the same rate. I will definitely not stay there again. Hotel reminded me of a beach house vibe, with beach access. Nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable, ac was cold, service... was good. Shaun at the bar was very welcoming and made us some great drinks, ask for him. Over all I would say it was a goodexperience there with my kids & family. We will be back. Read more
Love the bar and restaurant service. The hot sauce jelly made by Chef Carlos is outstanding. Holy cow his hot sauce is worth the... visit. Bartender Alex and bartender Shane are most excellent. Love room 199. If we needed anything the manager Chris took careof it. This place has an old school appeal that we love. I hear there are doing a full renovation during the off season. The bar and staff at coco beach hotel is absolutely amazing!!! Jorge smith, Shane and Michelle, and Alex are the great staff... that will take care of you at the bar and they are some of the most friendliest and best staff that you could ask for!!! Best things about this place - the bar and beach access. Beer was reasonably priced and the beach was literally right there.... Otherwise service wasn't great had to change rooms cause we had specifically asked for a kitchenette and our 1st room didn'thave 1. They offer no buckets for ice. They expect you to pay 5$ for a bag of ice????. We'll go back to SPI but not this hotel. Read more
We stumbled upon this place after the room we were supposed to get at Hilton fell through and it was probably the best thing... that could have happened during our stay in SPI. It is really nothing short of a hidden gem. Michele and Shane were immediatelyaccommodating and made us feel right at home, best bartenders on the island ;)! The beach views and access are great. The patiobar is the place to be, with locals in and out daily and is pet friendly. Everything you would need access to during a visit iswithin walking distance. Will definitely return soon! Read more
