We had a very enjoyable dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We use the call ahead feature so our wait, when we got to the restaurant, was... literally 2 minutes. We were seated in a less trafficked and less noisy portion of the restaurant. I ordered the New York Strip(medium), with the loaded sweet potato, fresh vegetables and raspberry lemonade. The steak was cooked perfectly. The loadedsweet potato was covered with marshmallows and the sweet potato was very tender. I was pleasantly surprised at how tender thesweet potato was. The fresh vegetables were steamed carrots and broccoli; they were on the firm side to the point where I haddifficulty sticking my fork into them. The raspberry lemonade was a very sweet and very delicious. My wife had the beef tips(medium), mashed potatoes and the fresh vegetables. She said the beef tips were fabulous. She must have liked the mashedpotatoes because she wanted the portion size to be twice as big. Our server was Cymmi. She was very attentive, pleasant,friendly and professional. Food was great, today is Mothers Day and we usually don’t go out to eat on holidays due to how busy every single place is. But... you can tell how busy they were by the three hours in total we were there and putting our food all cramped up in a smaller placethan usual. Wasn't the greatest experience but the manager tried making it right so I upgraded to 3 stars. Here's what happened in a... nutshell: • Wait time was supposed to be 15-25. We waited 40 minutes • It took around 45 minutes to get our food • Theyforgot a rack or ribs but brought it once we brought it up • They forgot a side of corn and we didnt realize until weleft The manager did come out and apologize about the wait and did comp our appetizer and some of the bill so that made theexperience better. Long wait, 1 hour. Blooming fried cacti app were delish and waitress was very kind and nice. My steak was supposed to MR and it... came out M, ribs were very dry. Waitress forgot my sister-in-law’s non alcoholic beverage. But overall it was great to trytheir food. Read more
The wait is forever! Try to call ahead if possible. Waited two hours. Service was great though. Our waiter was really great &... very attentive. Went with a group of 6 plus a child. Everyone loved their meals. Ribs were delicious!! Mango margarita was a hitat our table. All their alcoholic drinks are super good. Rolls are the best rolls around!! Loved it. Will be back, but maybe noton a weekend with those wait times. Read more
I don’t generally like to post negative reviews , and we have enjoyed dining at Texas Roadhouse at various locations for... years, but our last visit was not the greatest . It just seemed like it was one thing after the other . My intent is tohopefully return with an expectation that these issues will be addressed . First off my review is solely on the quality of ourfood , not our waiter . He was absolutely amazing!! He acknowledged & was very apologetic about the first issue, which was avery noticeable hair in one of our salads after it was almost eaten . We were offered another but declined after thatexperience. Next our onion appetizer was not cooked & it was obvious that the batter wasn’t mixed well. Thirdly, our primerib was literally 90% fat , 10 percent edible meat . So disappointed. Read more
Went for a birthday meal for the now 21 year old. We were seated relatively quickly and the host was friendly. He even told a... joke when he sat us down. Server came quickly and took our drink order. Came back with the basic drinks but forgot the otherdrinks. They were busy so just reminded him about them. He was apologetic and went and got them after the food came out.Appetizer came out at the same time the meal did. The veggies on 2 dinners were a bit over seasoned but overall the meal wasgood. The server made sure to check up on us and make sure everything was good throughout the meal. Great experience for thebirthday individual. Read more
