This is a Tahoe gem! Always good experiences-food,service and I can do origami projects for their customers. Side point-no one... will higher you to do origami at minimum wage. But at this restaurant, I struck a food and drink arrangement and was allowed tocollect my own tips. AND was featured in our local newspaper. I would not suggest that this restaurant should be inundated withoffers to do the same. Just try this: go to your favorite sushi house, begin with your origami projects while eating your meal,and see what happens. Great little place to get sushi! The inside area was pretty hot so i chose to sit in their out door area which was picnic... tables. The food is great! From service to food, to just overall the whole experience, what a truly great time we had. Not only were they prompt in... accomodating our table of 9 people, they were attentive to everything, our server was very kind and corteous and was really ontop of everything, very professional and outstanding customer service. As for the food, everything was wonderful, calamari,edamame, udon noodles, grilled salmon, teriyaki chicken the sushi, everything was done incredibly well. Excellent sakereccomendation as well. Nice upscale place with a contemporary menu selection of sushi rolls. Entrees include Teriyaki Chicken or Salmon plates and... Bento Box option. Chicken Teriyaki plate is tasty, includes veggies, rice, salad, and miso soup. There are 3 small skewers ofchicken, though for the price, I'd expect either 4 small skewers or 3 larger skewers. Good selection of fresh sushi, appetizers,and vegetarian options. Atmosphere is clean and inviting. Outdoor seating is nice, especially during warmer weather. Service wasgenerally good and reasonably quick. Prices are moderate. Fairly easy parking in the small shopping center. Read more
