**UPDATE: The owner got involved after the experience below, and we eventually got our cake. It was 5 days late, but they did... give it to us free of charge. It was still frustrating overall, but at least we eventually got what we ordered and had theoriginal cost refunded. The review was consequently upgraded to 3 stars from one. Ironically (based on the originalexperience), the girl at the counter didn't ask for a receipt when I finally picked up the cake.** Our office manager ordered acake online a week in advance, and paid for it. She showed up at the designated pick-up time, and they didn't have it. Thegirl working there said sorry but didn't offer to do anything about it, other than offer a different flavor cake, which wedidn't want, since we'd ordered a custom cake. Didn't offer a refund, or say they'd make it right away. We had to ask them tomake it for pick-up the next day. They said they would, but when I went in to pick it up, and the same girl claimed that it hadbeen picked up already. It hadn't. So either she lied, or gave away a fairly expensive cake to someone who didn't pay for it. (I asked if the person who picked it up showed her a receipt, and she said no.) She still didn't offer anything other thananother flavor of cake. She did give out the manager's number, but the manager has not been responsive. I get that there arestaffing shortages, but this wasn't that. It was the staff being underqualified and unwilling to fulfill orders--already paidorders no less. A refund is supposedly coming, but after wasting our time and leaving us empty-handed that's not enough. Anybusiness worth their salt would take better care of customers. We could be bringing in repeat business, but instead we'll begoing elsewhere. Read more
EDIT*** I was contacted by the owner and he made sure they made up for the mistake. New cake was made the following... week. Placed an order on Monday for Thursday pick up. Went to get my order and was told it was not made. I asked why and allshe could say was "I don't know". She said the night people did not make it but she did not know why. I found another option andasked for my cake to be made so I could pick it up the next day (Friday). Went to pick up my cake and they told me someone hadalready picked up my cake that I PAID FOR! Then they said "sorry". I was given the managers name and # (Amanda) but she did notanswer but instead text back saying her phone was dead! I called corporate and was told a case would be started and I would becalled to get my refund issued. I have not had any phone calls, I have not received my cake, I have not been given my refund andall I am being told is "I don't Know" DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION IF YOU NEED A CAKE FOR A SPECIFIC TIME! We came in here expecting just a normal ice cream experience, as we?ve be there several times. I wanted to leave this comment... because I was blown away by the staff member named Jaycee. She went above and beyond for us and dealt with us being complicatedlike a champ! Read more
Tried the Reese's ice cream combination, and really enjoyed it. Peanut butter and chocolate just work. The employee who made it... seemed unfamiliar with it, as it was new, but worked fast as they could. Will return. Returned and tried the Oreo creation,delicious, but I'd have left out the chocolate chips. Staff very friendly and gave fast service. Read more
I really like cold stone creamery. It is one of my favorite spots for ice cream. However, this location is not one that I... recommend. I visited tonight for the final time. Their customer service is horrendous. I understand that they are just highschool kids, but their treatment of others leaves a lot to be desired. Tonight they turned all their lights off 15 minutes priorto the posted closing time and asked us to leave. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Training is an issuehere. I will drive five extra minutes to find another location. Read more
Cant emphasize enough how much I loved coming here. The service was wonderful and our icecream technician, Christian, was so... helpful and patient as we decided which ice cream we wanted. The icecream itself is topnotch and the waffle bowls were amazing.Highly recommend if you are looking for a cold treat! Read more
Coldstone is NOT a glorified Baskin Robbins. Coldstone is a frozen marvel. They take homemade ice cream and fold into it, a... number of different accessories and you can get it in a cup, sugar cone or the almighty waffle bowl! You are allowed to eatthis treat alone by law, but what a deliciously wonderful thing to share with someone special. After you've determined yourfavorites, you may call in advance to assure your favorite flavors are available. I failed to do this and drove to 3 differentlocations until I had my "Strawberry Blonde" in the waffle bowl. Read more
Seriously overrated and massively overpriced. They?ve increased their prices significantly. Maybe it?s been a year or two since... going but wow to spend as much here on a cup of ice cream as you would on a meal is insane. You can go to the store and buy 5xthe ice cream for less than half the price! Also you don?t have to wait 20 minutes for one employee to scoop everyone?s icecream in line ahead of you.
