On 5-19-20, I ventured on foot with my Walker to purchase Church's fried chicken. I could have purchased fried chicken at the... Family Dollar Store but it's Frozen and it doesn't taste the same. The reason why I walked all the way to Church's, to purchasethe chicken is because they weren't answering the phone. The the virtual operator picks up and it says: this party is no longertaking messages (aprox.)over and over. it was blistering hot! I had to walk up to the window, since I don't have a car. Theattendant at window, did not greet me, nor was she wearing a mask. Thank goodness I was. No one inside was wearing a mask. Hearagain the distance between the attendant and people in their automobiles was less than 6 feet. I mentioned that no one wasanswering the phone, she apologized, with a tone that made me realize, she was aware of the fact, for whatever reason. Howeverit states clearly on the door, that the store does deliver. That is false advertisement. I did not want church's to deliver, just wanted to place the order before I got there or just to see if they were open. Than I ordered some ice tea. She did not askme if I wanted sweetened or unsweetened. She made the decision for me. Luckily for her I wanted it sweetened. I was disappointedbecause the chicken given to me (bought a 20-piece order all dark meat) was not freshly cooked and very dry. Seems to me it hadbeen sitting for while, and if not for whatever reason, the outside was Krispy but the inside, the chicken should not have beendry. There is nothing worse than warmed-over chicken from probably some other day. I will definitely never returned to thislocation. Nor recommend it to anyone. Read more
If there was an option for no star, that's what I would select. Sign says they open at 10:30 am, I waited in my vehicle until... 11:05. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. One of the ladies in the back looked at me then looked at the clock andsaid something to the other two ladies that were there. The one who I think is the manager, looked back at her then looked atme and started laughing. She continued to mix something, looking at the time and at me and kept laughing. Very rude. I gotback in my vehicle and waited another 3 minutes just to see if she would open and even attempt to apologize, but she didn't. Iwill never go that Church's Chicken ever again. Has to be the worst managed Churches in the United States. There is never any lights on in the drive thru and every night there... and day there is an 18 minute wait on chicken..they are losing a lot of business.. Read more
