Jeff & his team catered our wedding and everyone was talking how good the BRISKET was!!!! We live couple of hours away from his... shop but we come here once or twice a year. Risin' Smoke Barbecue has an excellent selection of meats, sides, and desserts! We both ordered the beef brisket plates which... have the option of two sides and hush puppies or a roll.The brisket is great by itself or with their bbq sauce. The sides arejust as great as the brisket! We tried the mac and cheese, fried okra, and baked beans - all were excellent! For dessert, Itried the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious! We made a choice to grab barbecue for the one night we were in the area and I was not disappointed at all. My brisket was very... tender and timely. To make things more memorable, I left my keepsake veteran ball cap sitting on a chair and they were graciousenough to ship it to my home in Connecticut.
