Assistant manger cordial but, no smiles at all, if anything appeared grumpy. Restaurant appeared clean and service quick
We pass the area frequently when visiting Grand Rapids. Since vowing to never set foot in another Popeyes (there is no more... chicken to be found, only layer after layer of breading hiding under a bun, or a single chicken tender sliced into 3 strips,effectively giving you less than 1/3 of what you paid for previously.) Arby's in general still seemed to be trying to providevalue. The amount of meat on your sandwich has been shrinking steadily. The tomato slices get thinner or you only get 1. Ialways ask for no onions, but the last several times the onions were missing without me having to ask. We were really hungry,and close to our final destination. There is a reason you call it "fast food." We walked in to this Arby's and were totallyignored. Not even eye contact. The woman behind the register was slooooooooowly counting a big box of coins. They were mostlypennies and nickels for a woman who wasn't a paying customer. No one came out to at least get our order going. Soon there werepeople behind us, also ignored. After 10-15 minutes, someone came out from the drive through window to take our order. At leastthe food tasted ok, even if it was suffering from Biden's "shrinkflation." Heading back to Chicago, we were once again facedwith the same dilemma- do we take a chance on Arby's or get something from Walmart that is ready to go? We saw only 2 pickuptrucks in the drive through, and were the only other vehicle in the customer parking lot. Walking in, the front of therestaurant was empty. All this fuss was going on in back, but we were ignored. Then the guy who waited on us a few days agowalked right past us with a small bag, to personally deliver it to what must have been a VERY important person in the pickuptruck. No eye contact, totally ignored us, didn't say a word. There was no one at the counter. Then the next truck went through,leaving the drive through line empty.
