We found this little gem almost by accident. It's not far from the shopping stores in Freeport. The view is just what you expect... at a Maine Coast harbor joint. They had some indoor seating and lots of tables under covered porches. The food came fast andhot and did not disappoint! Yes prices are higher this summer but this place was reasonable. We shared the fried seafoodbasket. There was so much seafood! The scallops were amazing. Shrimp, clams and haddock all yummy. We didn't eat any fries,but there were plenty. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy good. But, the best part was the bowl of seafood chowder we had. It was excellent and full of lobster scallops and fish. Worth the visit just for that. First time here! Ordered the lobster roll with fries. Delicious plenty of meat and fries. Parking was hard had to back out till... I could find a area to turn around! People here are nice and friendly. Outside eating tables are clean! To bad today was lastday of season! October 11! Read more
What a great find! Broad selection of menus items at reasonable prices. Best value lobster roll you can find. About $8 cheaper... than others and still had lots of lobster meat. Plenty of picnic table to eat at. Parking is a little tight and they do notaccept credit cards!!! Bring cash or check! Read more
Recommended lunch stop on the way to Acadia from Portland and we weren't disappointed! First lobster of our Maine trip and... everything was great. Another really good seafood restaurant with great views on the coast of Maine. The fried shrimp was really good but not... amazing. The haddock sandwich and french fries were great. The onion rings are hit or miss, they tend to be greasier thanother places and this time they were overdone. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Read more
