We stopped in for lunch today. I have to say upfront, I don't know what took so long for us to find this little gem. What an... amazing experience. First off this place is clean, actually spotless, restroom too! Tastefully decorated and comfortable forcasual family dining. Now the real scoop. Try the onion rings! ($3.99) Incredible. We ordered 2 fish and chips (fried) and afish sandwich (also fried) (all 3 were $12.99 each). All food arrived quickly and hot, I mean really hot. And a lot! I'mserious, portion size was huge. Well let me start by saying our 30 minute drive to this fantastic little place was so worth it!! It was just me and the hubby.... Our first time here and absolutely impressed! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection with the exception of the Mac ncheese. It wasn't our fave. Definitely try out the Po boy sandwich. I promise you it's like no other flavor wise! Service was fast as soon as we walked in we were greeted by our server and seated. She took our drink order and was more than... helpful when it came to questions about the menu. The food was fresh. I ordered fried shrimp and fries and the shrimp was defcooked to order. The food was delicious. I will def be visiting again when back in town. Absolutely great place for a quick lunch! I got the $11 lunch special. Two fish (big pieces) on a bed of shrimp, for only $11?... Seriously? Nice decor. Friendly staff. Good service. The fried foods are very good. Nice batter and not greasy at all. Roumalade sauce was... good. We didn't like the sweet tasting tartar sauce. I would advise the owners to change their tartar (or offer another kind)and to make their own caesar dressing. Read more
