Roxanne and I went up to the Red Pine Cone in South Colton on 9/30/2022 for breakfast and it was amazing!! The food was great, ... the staff were amazing and the restaurant was beautiful inside and outside!! Good food although I wish there was more selection, like some fish and chips. I also wish it were cozier. Between the concrete... floors and a/c units blasting on us, I was uncomfortable last I was there (this was before winter). I asked for an outdoor tableif one opened up but our waitress never followed up on that. I do hope they succeed because they are clean and nicely decorated. Read more
Actually the food is good ? but: - If you want something quick, not the place for you. I live about 1/4 of a mile away. I can... order takeout in Potsdam, drive there and back before food is ready at the Cone. - If you don?t like getting ?something else?this isn?t the place for you. Have ordered 6 times as of 10/01/21. 5 of those times we?ve gotten ?something else?. Surprisesare fun?!? Not when you?ve been waiting 90min for something that takes 20 to make? Stopping in for ice cream? We?ve walked upto grab a quick treat to wait in line for 25min for the staff to figure out the register. Great people, but always an excuse asto why mistakes are made. The food? Magnificent. Ordered one of the best Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches I have ever had. The thing had two large pieces of... chicken plopped right on the damn thing. It was a 10/10 finger licking good! Fries were awesome. Super nice staff. Make you feelright at home. Very high quality food at a low cost. New restaurant in town!!!!! I went with my family on their first night opened. We were seated immediately, and opted to sit... inside (but they do have outdoor seating!). Inside the place is beautiful, with a stunning mural and cute lighting. The menuhas a wide range of options, including a kids menu. I opted for their maple pizza, husband had a burger and kid had chickentenders. The pizza was really good, with a thin crispy crust. Husband couldn't stop talking about the fries!
