Four of us were in South Bend for a memorial service for a family member. Unfamiliar with SB we just cruised around looking for... somewhere to eat dinner when we happened upon Nick's Patio. The food and service were great. We were so impressed with it, thatwe met some other family the next morning for breakfast. Again, the food and service were excellent. Well , I have been here for many times , mostly at night since it?s the only restaurant in town operates business 24/7 & close... to Notre Dame . Their foods taste really good ,they serve quick with friendly stuff except the manger at night shift ! I wouldsay he is quite rude , sometimes misbehaving too & he doesn?t like Asians even if you are very humble . I am not going back tillhe is there , though I really like their foods. Read more
**Warning Long Post Ahead** The service I received tonight was shameful. The night started with me trying to call ahead a place... an order, at which point I was abruptly interrupted by AJ (The Night Manager) and told they don't take order after 9pm, before Icould respond he hung up. With limited food opinions after 10pm, I decide to drive 20 minutes and place my order inperson. Once I arrive, I order two simple dinners, their signature Greek Chicken & Greek Burger and Fries. I wait an addition30 minutes for my food, leave a respectable tip to the rude manager and drive home. To my disappointment, when I open my foggyplastic/tin to-go container there are no fries(see attached photos). I quickly call the AJ back and try to explain that myorder was wrong, however he keeps attempting to interrupt me saying " we don't take order after 9pm. After all but screaming atAJ, he finally stops and listens. After he acknowledges, my order is incomplete, I ask him how he plans on rectifying theinconvenience. He suggest that I drive back 20 minutes to pick up my fries at 12am in the morning. I responded that, I would,but that my Burger and Fries meal would have to be refunded for the inconvenience and the 20 mins there and back ~ not tomention when he handed me the bag initially he read the order as if to reassure me that everything was in the bag. This is whenAJ, told me that refunds don't work that way, that it wasn't his job to make sure the order was complete and that if I wanted myfries, Id have to make the 40 min drive or settle for a $1.75 refund of my fries. With the fries the meal was basically $13, mytip was $6. He had no problem pocking my tip. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The service and management need acomplete overhaul. Read more
This is a mom & pop food place. Love the breakfast food here. Good pies here too. If you want some old fashion food then this is... the place. They open 24 hrs. Great place to socialize with friends anytime. I like their omelette. Read more
Although we were sat in a timely manner and the restaurant wasn't really busy when we arrived around 9pm. Getting a waitress to... get to us to take our drink orders was quite a wait, but not quite as long as it took for her to take our food orders. Therewas a significant wait for our entire table of 5 to receive our food. Food was quite plentiful for what was ordered, and wasdelivered hot and made to order. The entire restaurant was in need of some cleaning, from the tables, class deviders, all theway to the restrooms. Read more
So good, amazing service and our food was fast and hot, coffee is the bomb. Was even a little busy.
I'm really happy that I gave this restaurant a try. I am in Mishawaka for business and wanted to have a nice hearty breakfast... before my meeting. There were a lot of mix reviews and I'll be honest I was concerned about the quality of the food. Well, thisplace far exceeded my expectations. The eggs were fresh and scrambled to perfection. My colleague and I ordered the waffle andalot of times when I've eaten at diner style places the waffle is soggy. We asked for them to prepare it little crispy and theynailed it! The bacon was crispy, just the way I like and I didn't have to ask them to make it crispy. The service was pleasantoverall. Today is Thursday and I thought I'd mention that in case it makes a difference. You should definitely give this place atry if you're looking for good food and a pleasant vibe in the morning. I went here late in the evening with my friends after black Friday shopping and it was one of the few, non chain, locations... open. Our waitress was very nice and patient with us for taking a while to order our food. Shortly after ordering, our food wasready. Also, I drink water like a fish and she was on it refilling my glass!
