This is a neighborhood stable which has endured the test of time. This branch started in Scottsdale Mall before is was... demolished. The restaurant thankfully rebuilt as a stand alone attraction. It feature Mexican and American style selectionswith reasonable prices. The full bar offers margaritas and craft beers. They are clean and organized. Hacienda is amazing. I went here with some friends on a Saturday and the wait was only 45 minutes! We had plenty of time to hang... out and catch up. When we where in the food came out fast and was amazing! I wish I could eat here everyday. Read more
Server was wonderful. Hacienda food terrible quality. It use to be amazing, now it's all cheaply done. The famous wet burrito is... way smaller and less filled. The shredded beef was flavorless, had barely any sauce. Overall food is disappointing now. Read more
Absolutely the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant. Our friends young child was crying when we arrived because she... had been bitten by a bug or something on the inside of her elbow. He pulled her aside to try and calm her down and find out whatwas wrong. Shortly after we were seated, a police officer arrived because the hostess had called and reported child abuse. Neveronce did any restaurant employee ask if everything was OK before calling the police. We were so upset over the incident that wedidn't even stay and order. Not even an apology from anyone other than the lovely waitress who was unaware of the wholesituation. What made it worse is that it was my wife's 40th birthday and we were there to celebrate and the entire evening wasruined. That's something we can't ever get back. Read more
Not the best experience on this, one of our many regular visits to this location, which compels me to write my review in the... hope that customer service from our particular server will improve. I understand that the service industry has its challengesthese days but the service on this occasion was disappointing and frustrating. My wife and I visited this location on theevening of 7/18/22 around 7PM. We were seated immediately in the covered outdoor patio and given menus. It took fully 10 minutesfor our server to come to our table despite two other servers in this location telling us that "your server will be right withyou". The other servers were in and out of the patio several times attending to other patrons before our young server came toour table with chips & salsa and asked what we'd like to drink: She didn't know the price of a regular draft beer or the marketprice of chicken wings and made no attempt to find out before ordering. These were ordered anyway along with 2 waters which werenot forthcoming until much later. We ordered the white cheese & bean dip along with our drinks and when it arrived it had askin on top. Clearly it had sat for a while and had cooled. Our basket of chips was soon depleted so we had nothing to dip intothe bean dip. Fully 5 minutes later, and with our server "MIA", I had to ask one of the other servers for more chips (thanksDan, you are very efficient!). Our server showed no initiative and showed more enthusiasm while chewing her gum. Perhaps thisis the norm for the next generation? She had no personailty and appeared disinterested. Towards the end of our visit ourserver did come to our table on a couple of occasions and her attitude seemed to have improved. I suspect that someone had had achat with her. The wings, poppers and bean dip (despite being almost cold) were very good! As an aside the "Monday domesticbeer special' had no domestic "regular" beer only "Lite, Lite, Lite and Ultra"! Do you like American food that tries poorly to replicate Mexican food like I do? Look it's a great local restaurant chain with... an amazing atmosphere and good bar. This is my second favorite location next to the 100 center. If there busy, don't expect tohe waited on hand and foot. They usually handle large crowds pretty well. Read more
