Just popped in for something to take out for lunch while passing thru Sooke and was pleasantly surprised at the number of... options from sandwiches to salads to cut-up fruit and vegetables as well as a wide variety of deink options. Prices werereasonable and staff were very friendly. Read more

This is a big small grocery store. This means they have everything you need and more but in a smaller space than huge box... stores. The aisles are clear not cluttered. Read more

My review is for the bakery. We recently ordered a dessert bites party tray for an event and it was phenomenal. Not impressed with how the supervisor/ manager on May 1st 2022 handled a situation he caused. He was bringing a cart full of... food out from a backroom and dropped a box of cans hitting the back leg of my girlfriend, than doesn't hesitate to get defensivesaying it's our fault? I asked another employee if they had any other Managers and he was the only one around and didn't wantto say sorry or take responsibility at all check the cameras around lunch if there's any other managers there to see thisreview. Any other employee would of had a note on their portfolio for the job after what happened whoever owns this company ormanages it needs to train this guy a bit more or make a new strategy for moving around items it's not organized at all. I love Western foods because they have the best selection of organic and specialty foods. I am very disappointed though that... there is not a washroom that you can use now. Older people seem to have issues issues with bladder control and not having abathroom and emergency when you're shopping is really inconvenient. I love the store and it's products though I just wish Ididn't have to go to village foods because they have a bathroom. Read more
