Disappointed! I want to support local businesses, but every time I go (which is not often) prices are higher (yes, I know,... supply chain, wage inflation, etc.) So why not raise the bar on quality as well as the prices? Not so. It's gotten worse. KungPao had no flavor or spice (as advertised) and the minimal amount chicken was all breading. Vegetable fried rice , wasmostly rice and very little vegetables. I'm leaving 3 stars reluctantly. We've ordered delivery a few times and were satisfied. This past Friday not so much. As a habit... we tip the delivery person in cash even if we're paying by card. The delivery person seemed to have a problem with this. My wifetipped cash which he took, then began insisting she write the tip dollar amount in the tip field of the receipt. Anyone that'sever handled these transactions knows the amount written in that field gets additionally charged. Hence he would have beentipped twice. Eat 'N East is a step above all the other local Asian food places in and surrounding Branchburg. Why? I think it?s because all... the food is so fresh, that you can tell when you eat it. I like all ?Chinese/Asian food?, however it all generally tastes thesame to me, in a good way. However this place seems to be step above all the others, and I have never said that aboutChinese/Asian food (and I am not young and have been eating Chinese/Asian food for decades now). The restaurant is clean andspacious. Again, the food is fresh and tasty. The prices are fair too. The one con is that it appears to be run by maybe ahusband and wife team . . . he does the back end, and she does the front end . . . so the service may be slow for some folks,but not a deal-breaker. Consistently the best sushi around! Love this place! Love the fact that they deliver! Love that they give the ability to order... your Asian cuisine of choice: Japanese, Chinese or Thai. Most restaurants tend to slide back in quality as time goes on andchefs come and go. Eat 'N East does not falter. I highly recommend to all my friends and family!! Read more
Food was great, tasted good, looks good. We loved it. Unfortunately, All the good stuff ends there. We felt like, the waitress... here was so mad at us, for our poor knowledge of Chinese food. She was actually yelled at us when we asked about food. Sheforgot to get some water before serving food. Well that?s fine, human errors right? Well we asked her to get some water for us..she just brought one glass of water for two people.. We don?t want to get yelled again, didn?t ask a thing later. Had lunch there, food was very good. The vegetables are fresh and ingredients are authentic. Our server was very polite and... attentive. Would visit more frequent if I wasn't 4 hours away.. pic is the Singapore noodles and beef lomein. Read more
Pad Thai is awful, worst I?ve ever had. I?ve had sushi there and it was good though. The interior looks best odd with lots of... barriers and plastic, and they?re using the old dining room for storage. Looks like it?s under construction. Read more
