I give this place 5 stars strictly for the staff. John at the bar is awesome and the servers all seem to enjoy working with one... another. The atmosphere is nice too. My complaint for this bar is the food and menu size. It has very few choices. The attemptto offer a bougie and fancy dining experience fails miserably. I will come back for a beer but I will eat at Earl?s or Salt &Stone first. Read more

Love love LOVE River Bar now. I enjoy the atmosphere. Sitting outside at the bar or fire pit. It?s great anytime of the day. I... went a few years ago and it was eh. Thought I?d give it another chance and now I keep going back. The food is good. The drinksare amazing. Sarha, the bartender is always welcoming me when she sees me and makes room for me at her bar anytime I come. Themanager, Olivia, is very profession. I?ve had Corey and Sophie as servers- they are so attentive. I have brought all my friendsthere and they love it as much as I do. Great patio, but we were refused seating in the easy chairs, which seemed to be open just a few minutes later. That was picky, &... not at all welcoming. Service was slow, & the menu's very limited. Drinks were good. Read more
I feel like the menu was a catfish. The guacamole was disgusting and clearly from a bag. Ours was completely brown on the top... and our chips were stale. I wish I took a picture. Our silverware napkins also were like dipped in red sauce before they came toour table, which was weird and gross. Also the menu online did not match what we expected. It was a cool location but would onlygo back if I wanted to drink bottled beer. We left and got our entrees another place and saw two other couples leave and eatelsewhere like us. Way over priced for what they serve. Drinks are nothing great. Ordered chips and guacamole. 2 classic Margaritas or should I say... glass of ice with some margarita flavor. Hubby got a beer and chips tasted like they came out of a Market Basket bag and theguacamole had a few tomatoes in it. Nothing great. Truffle fries were reg fries with a hint of truffle flavor. Tasted likefrozen fries. No one came over to ask if we needed anything. We grabbed our own silverware and napkins from the bar. I had toflag down a wait staff for my second drink. Then again to get my bill from another waitstaff. He said I can run your card foryou. I said can you give me a receipt with a breakdown. I used to love River bar. The atmosphere and Frose were my fave but lately it?s not the same. The last two times I went the... staff were rude and looked miserable. I went today cause I wanted to treat my friend to frozen cocktails and all we got werenormal cocktails with LOTS of ice?. Not even the watermelon slush is slush anymore. Tony C's was full so decided to give this place a try. What a huge mistake. As one review mentioned waitstaff was rude and not... attentive, until their friends showed up... For the price, beer was tiny and the nachos were horrible. Needless to say would notgo back and cannot recommend. We went to Southern Kin for more drinks. Read more
