New contemporary dining. Not a huge menu but a mix of classics with a twist. Three of us shared starters including the cheese... plate and crepe. Had the classic mussels and fries, steak and frites (only had rib eye cut available) and a classic pasta. Themussels looked a little puny (perhaps time of the year), and others good. Winner was likely the cheese plate. Nice, newlyrenovated/moved location. Read more

Vibes are really chill and relaxing. I ordered two things and they both were not in stock so that was a bummer. They didn’t... have any more oysters that night except the canned kind so I thought I’d give it a shot, def not even half as good. Myboyfriend got the $18 drink which was just one giant ice cube honestly. We got the pesto pasta and fish dinner. Both needed moresauce and flavor overall? Fries were bomb though and that aioli!! I do want to note our server was great and very friendly andknowledgeable of the menu! Overall wasn’t a bad experience but nothing really worth coming back for! We chose this placebecause they do give back to the community by offering a limited # of reservations a ‘pay as you can’ experience so thosepeople who can’t afford to eat out out can for once! Though I must admit I mistaken this place for JULIA that all my friendsraved about. Read more

The new space is amazing! A lot of space at the bar, and plenty of tables. The mussels and fries were a good size to share.... I’m excited to come back! Read more

A true gem in Somerville that offers an outstanding dinner experience. Visited after their recent renovation. The newly... renovated space was inviting, and the pastel-toned decors and tiled floor reminded me of popular brunch cafes inBoston. Sprinkled with bread crumbs, the gazpacho was a great way to open the food gates. Burst of umami flavor from thetomatoes and a slight bitterness from the olive powder really woke up our taste buds. The croquettes were a bit salty, but Iliked the emphatic fish flavor which paired well with the radish from the aioli garni. Coastal Aioli garni was essentially anassortment of pickled vegetables, potatoes, and seafood. Seafood was limited to mussels and pickled fish, but we enjoyed theunique experience of dipping of everything in the aioli. For the entrées, we got the risotto, pappardelle, and the hakemeuniere. Risotto and the pappardelle were good, but not as good as the ones you can get at Italian restaurants in the city. Onthe other hand, hake meuniere was fantastic. Firm texture of the hake went really well with the capers, zucchini, and big chunksof tomatoes. Service was a bit slow as the dishes came out one by one. Since we were sharing 6 plates, it took more than anhour for everything to get served. Nevertheless, our server was friendly, and I would highly recommend checking them out forbrunch or dinner. What wonderful food and maybe the most personable and friendly staff I have ever seen at a restaurant. We had a five person... group and got to try a little bit of everything. It was all delicious. From the cheeseboard to the pasta, mains and the dessert. The gazpacho was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Their house blend tea was a really nice treat at the end. I will definitely beback next time I’m in Boston! Read more

Fantastic destination for dinner. Upon entering, an aroma that promised elite French dining entranced my senses. The host... (owner?) gracefully walked us to our (new!) bar experience from which we could see our food being prepared. The food wasexcellent, especially for the price. I recommend the omlette appetizer and the papperdelle entrée, which was made with freshpasta! Everything from the familiar service to the excellent food was worthwhile. Only complaint is the unadvertised 15% adminfee...maybe I missed it on the menu? The "no tip" portion is extremely clearly articulated, but the 15% admin fee washes most ofit out... Still a steal Read more

So. Freaking. Good! Loved every minute of my experience having brunch at Juliet. My group was a party of 5 so we were seated in... the retail space, separate from the main cafe area. Food was delicious and the service was lovely, would definitely come back! Read more

Wow. So damn good. Also they pay their workers a living wage! Really cool to see that. I had the braised lamb, coffee, and... orange juice for $32. Sounds expensive but it tasted expensive haha. I feel perfectly priced. The design inside is really cutewith the ability to see right into the kitchen where everything is being prepped. The bread was airy, fluffy, and fresh. Thelamb was tender and perfectly seasoned and mixed in with potatoes, breakfast hash style. Eggs cooked perfectly. Nice fresh saladon the side. The black coffee was so good! I forgot to ask the brand. Wanted to buy the beans myself. It is a long wait. Iwaited 40 minutes just to sit 1. But I am not bothered by that at all now with how damn good this food was. The staff were verybusy but very polite and when they had a chance to give you their attention it was undivided. Great work! Will come again nexttime I’m in Boston. Read more
