Great place for sandwiches!! They are pretty hefty - we ended up splitting 2 sandwiches for 2 meals ???? you can ask for your... sandwich to be pressed or served as is. Great place, just very busy so be prepared to wait ~15 mins! Read more

We ordered sandwiches and the sesame noodle salad for a large gathering in our yard, The food was excellent! Because we had a... few last minute cancellations, we had sandwiches left over and people asked if they could take a sandwich home!They were thatgood. The delivery person called 15 minutes before the time he was supposed to arrive just to explain that he had run into sometraffic and would be 10 minutes late. He was very apologetic and so polite. The best part about this place is how kind and helpful the staff is. Given that it was my first time there, I was specially... assisted by a lovely staff member about the fresh pasta and the in-house sauces they do. Their sandwiches taste divine. It doesget really busy, and rightly so, but despite the wait, my grilled caprese sandwich was amazing! It was perfectly seasoned, thepesto was delicious and the portion size of the sandwich was generous and very filling. Moreover, as a vegetarian, I appreciatedthat there was an option to build your own sub if you didn't like any of their staple offerings. I was also told by one of thestaff members that if any particular sub catches your fancy, you can always request to make it meatless. The prices are a littlesteep because it's not a big franchise store or supermarket but I think it's worth it! Would 100% recommend this place to grablunch to go. Dave?s Fresh SANDWICHES!!! Def need a name change because everyone?s talking about the sandys! We got the Prosciutto Fig (GET... THIS ONE on Focaccia Hot) on a Ciabatta Roll and the Pesto Chicken on Focaccia! Both HOT! We loved see the Proscuitto Fig, butit?s kind of like having kids. You don?t really have a favorite because they are all wonderful, but deep down there is oneyou?re leaning toward! And in this case it?s the Fig Sandy!! Really a unique Sandy because usually you see prosciutto on acharcuterie board with Fig or apricot spread, but this came in a sandwich form which is rare, but wonderful to see! The PestoChicken is more of a slow burn type ... we saved a half for later and it aged well like a red wine! The juices/oils were ableto soak into the focaccia bread marinating just right!! Awesome pasta, and awesome sandwiches. Can't go wrong with anything you can get here. Really need more local food stores like... this. Fresh, fairly priced and delicious. Can't ask for much. Also the people who work here are wicked friendly and will makesuggestions on stuff if you're overwhelmed by their insane pasta list. It's a little overwhelming but just means more stuff totry! Hi, I recently went into the Somerville store to get some pasta sauce and grated parmesan. I have always really like this store... and its pasta, however after today's incident I will be less likely to return anytime soon. I understand that it is difficult todistinguish service animals from regular untrained pets and have often been approached by staff about their no pets allowedpolicy. I have, however, never been yelled at from across the store and been forced to defend my service animal in front ofother customers until today at your location. I still feel very embarrassed and I am no longer comfortable returning to thestore. Even for just yummy pasta sauce. Please train your employees to be more mindful of people. Read more
