I cannot properly put into words just how delicious Tasya's Kitchen is. I came here with a classmate from Indonesia. He claims... this is the best Indonesian food he has had outside of Indonesia. We drove nearly two hours for this meal and I would do itagain in a heartbeat. We had the Mie Bakso- a noodle soup with some of the most amazing broth I have ever tasted, Nasi AyamKremes- some of the most crispy fried chicken I have ever eaten which was seasoned to perfection, Sate Ayam- a deliciouslytender chicken skewer with a wonderful char, among many other amazing dishes. The star of the show however, was the Pempek- acrispy fried fish cake accompanied by a sweet and spicy tamarind sauce. It was one of the most uniquely delicious flavors I haveever tasted. The staff was some of the most down to earth, and grateful people I have ever met. I will most certainly come back. This was one of the most special experiences I have had in a restaurant in my life. If you want to expand your tastes todelicious new flavors, you have to come here. Read more

First Timers today. We stopped in for lunch and ordered the Beef Rendang and Mie Casiu. Food was very flavorful, will definitely... get food here again. 5 stars because the owner Markus came out to greet us and asked how our experience was. Read more

Best Indonesian Restaurant near Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. The taste was also on point, delicious and... taste homemade. There are lots of variety of food choices. Recommend lontong sayur, nasi pecel, ayam kalasan, ayam kremes, nasibungkus, etc. The owner, Tasya & Marcus, are very nice and their kids when they helped. Their helper, Jeanne, is also very nice.Very recommend to eat here and you will not regret the choice. Read more

My first visit to an Indonesian restaurant, and it was brilliant. I ordered two appetizers, the spring rolls and the sate ayam,... both were amazing, or, as I found out, sangat enak, delicious. I went to the restaurant to find out more about the Indonesiancommunity in the Somersworth area, and Tasya herself took time to answer my questions, for which I am grateful. Ienthusiastically recommend Tasya's Kitchen. Terima kasih. Read more

***edited*** Went back there for the 2nd time today. We had Tahu Gimbal, it was phenomenal!! Husband had the nasi pecel with... beef empal. I myself had the gado2. All 3 dishes have peanut sauce. The male owner/chef was so nice to tell us that they allhad peanut sauce. Maybe he just wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting. For those familiar with Indonesian foods, you must know that the peanut sauce for each of those dishes should taste different from one another. And they were! Eachsauce tasted just like it should be. They were packing lots of nasbung but too bad it was sold out. I will follow them on IGso next time I can see what specials they have. And oh, btw, we have been to the other place too but Tasya's Kitchen is so muchbetter. ***Feb 2022*** Decided to give this place a try on our way back from Portland, ME. I ordered mie ayam, which was goodbut a little too salty for my liking. Not unusual since I have a low tolerance to salt. My husband ordered ayam penyet, whichwas served differently than what he is accustomed to. The chef was very nice and accommodating his request to transform it intowhat he expected. We also bought a bunch of snacks. You need to make an instant payment on them (no credit card) with PayPal,Venmo and something else as options. Since we came home, I have devoured their pempek. I had been craving them for a longtime. The last time I had had them was in 2018. Tonight we shared the nasi rendang. So glad they are only a little over 2hours from Rhode Island. Definitely will be back. Read more
