I had an amazing meal at Gravy! It was nice to build your own meal. The disappointment is was how much gravy was given! With the... name we assumed we would have a generous serving of gravy on our food. To our surprise it was less than expected. We asked forsome more on the side, to our surprise again a small container was given (one you may put dressing or lobster butter in). Wegiggled at the sized to each other because we come from a family of a ?side of gravy? being a small/medium bowl. Once wereceived the bill we were charged two extra dollars for our small dressing container of gravy. No worries here it was deliciousand paid without a fuss. Just putting out there if you?re headed to a restaurant named gravy don?t be alarmed if you do notreceive much gravy! Read more

I have never been more disappointed in a meal. I'm from the south. I know what gravy is. What they call gravy is flavorless,... broken flour water. The idea is great. But when the star of your meal is gravy and its the worst part about a meal. Your doingit wrong. I hope more than anything the owner sees this message. If changes aren't made, gravy WILL go out of business. I havenever in my life intentionally left my leftovers at a restaurant. We both left most of the meal. We were not alone. My wife andI had 3 little elderly ladies stop by us in the parking lot to ask if our food was as terrible as theirs? I think that sums itup. Read more

This was our first to Gravy. My meal was incredible! We also tried the gravy flight which is served with fries so we could try a... variety of flavors. My favorites was creole tasso and grandpa's cheddar and beer. Portions were large. They also had a niceselection of local brews on tap. Service was great even though they were short handed. We cannot wait to return! Read more

They offer fried chicken for 10.95. I asked the waitress how many pieces are in an order and she said 3 or 4. That was a decent... price for 3 or 4 pieces of fried chicken. What I received was 3 chicken tenders!!!! I ordered a side of NH maple syrup to dip mychicken in. Instead I was charged 2.00 for a slight drizzle over my fries....this place is a RIP OFF!!! If you want your moniesworth, go elsewhere. Read more

Being ?Gravy? it would have tasty gravy, but the gravies we got, sausage gravy lacked pepper, a main ingredient. Also, the... brown turducken gravy was bland and needed salt. There is no salt on the tables, so ours was not the only table asking forsalt. Then, there was the service?terribly slow non attentive. Under trained issues like not knowing the menu, not knowing whata hard seltzer is, not coming back to ask if everything was ok. The menu is creative, but the cook isn?t that sharp either. Igot Poutine with a fried egg and they forgot the egg. When I finally got someone?s attention they brought me an egg quickly, andit was nearly raw. I couldn?t even eat it. The three stars are: 1 for a creative concept Resturant, 1 for atmosphere and one forthe owners who did come out and speak to people to ask if everything was ok, I mentioned they forgot the egg and he apologizedand said he would get it right next time. We probably won?t go back though because the gravy is bland. If you love gravy, like Ido, it?s worth a try, but ask for a salt and pepper shaker, you?ll need it. Read more

New location. Great staff and the food is not your typical restaurant fare. I had the BLT on a homemade biscuit that was... amazing! Hand cut fries that are perfect. Outdoor seating as well as inside. Definitely worth stopping by! Read more

I have been wanting to try one of our local restaurants in Somersworth for a while now, so Friday night my wife and I took a... drive across town to satiate my craving for Gravy. They are located at 6 Main St. We were greeted upon entering and were askedif we had ever been in before. Our answer was no and she explained how the ordering process works. We grabbed a table andstarted looking over the menus. My wife decided on a grilled hotdog with fries and an Egg Cream. I chose one of the Specials anda Tributary IPA. Our drinks arrived and it looked like someone had chugged half my beer(Pic1). Our waitress explained that Ihad finished the keg and I wouldn't be charged for the beer. My wife's Egg Cream was topped off(Pic 2). A short time later ourfood arrived. My wife's hotdog was grilled perfectly and was nestled in a Martin's Potato Bun with a side of fries(Pic3). MySpecial was The Big Mac Jones Burger(yes, Mac Jones of Patriots fame). This beast was made with 2 Gravy smash patties, Alabamawhite sauce, lettuce, American cheese, pickles and red onions all on a Martin's Sesame Seed Bun. I also substituted for thefries(Pics 4-5). Let me tell you, this was without a doubt, the best burger I have ever had. The patties were juicy, the Alabamawhite sauce had a tangy flavor to it and was simply delicious. Every ingredient in this burger could be tasted and wasn'tovershadowed by the sauce. Everything culminated to pure perfection. I wore it well ????. The fries were crispy and delicious. As you can see, we could have easily shared the fries. I did grab another beer. This one was a Burlington Imperial IPA. I wonthe battle with the burger and was rolled away from the table. The memory of that burger will always stay with me. Gravy has anextensive menu so I know we'll be back for more. I have no doubt that the rest of the menu is going to be just as delicious aswhat we had. I would encourage anyone to take a drive to Somersworth to try Gravy. Dine on! Read more
