Nice little salad, with a delicious house Italian dressing on the side. Italian loaf served with real butter. Absolutely rustic... comfort pastas. Marinara was wonderful on fettuccine. Also had another dish of penne pasta with meat sauce. Served fresh & hot.?? arrived late but guess what? The food made up for it. Finally a spot to eat a decent meal & rest for our road weary souls. First time I've been there. Zucchini appetizer was great, other than that, it was terrible. My boy ordered a meatball sub, he... didn't like it. I tasted the meatball and it was hard and dry with a terrible flavor. I actually spit it out. 3 of usordered Lasagna and it came out cold. Sent it back and came out hotter. Sauce was too sweet and overall it was flavorless. Food in general tastes like fast food. Will never go back again. Read more

We love Italian Oven in Somerset. Staff is all very friendly and food is great. Our favorite waitress is Elizabeth. As soon... as she sees us she comes with our drinks and always a friendly smile!! She always takes excellent care of us!! The meat loafis one of our favorites. It comes with warm bread that is so hard to stop eating!!! Stop in and visit, I know you will notregret it!!! Read more

Pamela and I started with the Wedding and Roasted Red Pepper soups. Our entrees were the Seafood Medley and Shrimp Alfredo. ... For once we only had a small to go box after thoroughly enjoying this fresh made Italian food. We will be back to explore moreof their tantalizing menu. Great job to the staff as well. A perfect meal was enjoyed. Thank you and see you soon. Read more

I will go back and try it again but my first experience wasn't great. We waited at the door as employees handled take out orders... , phone calls etc. Finally this girl from the back who I watched standing talking for a good while, walked over asking if weneed to be seated. We sit and immediately notice the place needs refreshed. Fairly old decorations and for some reason the TVis playing inside edition talking about mass shootings and then the house of horrors. Great family dinner background noise forthe kids to hear. Something in the salad hurt my teeth. A stone or chip or a plate? Drink empty, waitress in the back eatingwatermelon. Finally comes over asking if we need refills as our food arrives, proceeds to make drinks with one hand whileeating with the other. Very nice person, but needs trained. They were not busy for a Saturday night and had plenty of staffrunning around. In fact when we left there was only on other car in the lot. Worth mentioning that we never see her again untilit's check time. Pizza was ok. Wood fired but for some reason they cook it on a metal tray? I'll try it again maybe for pastaor something. Read more

Not a local. Just passing through off the turnpike. I ordered the "taste of Italy" It was alright. Eggplant parmesan was... probably the best thing out of it though. Honestly we almost didn't come in cause we thought the place was closed since theirsign light wasn't on, and the parking lot was empty. The whole time, from pulling into the parking lot to leaving it, the placegave me a 'Kitchen Nightmares' vibe that made us nervous to come in. "Why are we the only ones dining here at 7:30pm? Do Thelocals know something that we don't?" Upon walking in we saw a sign that they were hiring in "All positions" so I figured theywere either, on a downward slump and we were about have a horrible dining experience, or they're in the middle of fixing theirproblem from before and we were about to have a mediocre experience while they're transitioning. Honestly, luckily, it was kindof mediocre. The server was trying to take a to-go order and had to finish that up before seating us, Even though seeminglywe've been the first table they've seated in the past 15+ minutes. No one else dined in in our entire time being there. Therewas 2 to-go pickups. Atmosphere was all right. No decor or anything to make it feel like an Italian restaurant, that I noticed, but nothing bad. I kind of liked the idea of having local businesses' cards underneath the glass on the dining table in aneffort to support their community. I don't know if this place burned their community in the past, but I'd suggest giving them ashot. I'd think maybe they're too far out of the way, but we literally came off the turnpike to dine here while passingthough. The food was alright, so If they get a better chef or something this place could even be great. Only quick suggestion Icould give to the staff, maybe get rid of the little butter packets that come with your bread. I get that you probably are doingit for budgetary reasons, but it comes off as just that, cheap. You could make a really decent homemade ga Read more

The food was very tasty. We got the fried zucchini which is a must! The small garden salads were a nice size and paired nicely... with a large pizza. The kids meals were good sized and they loved them. Read more
