Reviews for Gus's Pizza in Somerset, MA
Good food, service and it's a classic Mom and Pop pizza shop. Yes, we do go back and yes I'd recommend!
Normally a great restaurant! However today delivery took an hour and a half. I called after an hour to check on the order and... the lady who picked up just gave me attitude. She listed off the wrong items which i had to correct and then said ?yeah, someonewill be there in a minute.? Another 15 mins went by before someone pulled up. The items were correct but everything was cold andsoggy. Highly disappointed, from a local who eats here often. Read more

After spending the afternoon at Pierce Playground with my family, we decided on pizza for lunch shortly after. We had gone to... Gus's Pizza to indulge. The customer service was very friendly and welcoming. I had purchased a small pepperoni pizza, a largecheese pizza, their jumbo order of fries and 4 drinks and spent about $30. Surprisingly cheaper than what I had expected to pay.The pizza was great and satisfying. The jumbo order of fries was plenty to split between 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) with plentyleft over. The fries were okay, otherwise I'd give 5 stars. But all-in-all, great experience, great food, and excellent customerservice. I will be frequenting this location. Read more
New to area looking for a go to pizza place that has a nice traditional thin crust plain cheese pizza. If you?re like me and... hoping for that nice crisp first bite with a slight crunch this ain?t it. Not sure if this was an off night because a lot of thereviews for this place are singing it?s praises as life long customers but wow the grease factor was unreal, I had a ton ofpaper towels handy thankfully but the small cheese pizza was literally fused to the parchment paper with grease. Once I freed itfrom the paper and patted it down several times with paper towels and tried it it honestly reminded me of Chuck E. Cheese pizza(which I actually like) Really soft crust, good amount of cheese and not too much sauce (I love light sauce on pizza so this wasthe reason I ate two pieces despite the grease bath and also was ravenously hungry). Jalapeño poppers were decent thought itwas weird they put marina sauce with them as the dipping option usually places default to ranch for them. Husband ordered a BBQpizza said it was fine. Overall this will not be my go to pizza place but it?s not terrible and the order was ready quickly andwas accurate. Read more
