Good food, friendly staff and fast service
Since 2020 China Lake has gone down hill. I keep trying every few months but I'm done. I specifically ask for soggy fries and... this is what they gave me. So crispy and gross. Chow mein hasn't been great either. Not to mention $20 for chow mein and fries. Read more
Chinese food is either hit or miss in this area... This was definitely a hit! The food all came out hot and fresh the fried rice... was phenomenal and so was there general gaos chicken crispy and hot... Definitely some of the better Chinese food in the areafor sure Read more
I would say it is average for Chinese food around here. I do understand the cost of everything is up right now too but it was... extremely expensive compared to what it used to be. Also their new to-go system is extremely odd. We use to go inside to pickupthe food (yes during COVID) and now you don't go inside. Instead you go to a window in the parking lot to grab your food andpay. Read more
They've been around forever for a reason, China Lake has some absolutely amazing food!! Service was perfect, food came out... piping hot! Never had anything here I didn't like! I think I get more food when I dine in VS when I order takeout! Best eggrolls around by far!! If you don't like them, It's you!! Lol Read more
Ordered general tso and this is what I got. Not to mention I only wanted the meal which comes with white rice, when I called... they said ?that?s our version? well instead of rushing to take my order because you closed in an hour you should have explainedthat it is a little different or just ran me through the plate before I ordered it. Prices for the food we received were way too high. I have NEVER been to a Chinese restaurant that charges for tea! 4 bucks, no... one even mentioned that when we asked for it. You would think that it is so rare that they would say by the way we charge fortea. The beef teriyaki was raw, it is all but 1/4 inch thick how much longer would you need to cook it a minute? The egg rollwas stale the wontons were worse. The staff is nice but they were too busy for only 2 waitresses. I don't know how people cankeep paying these prices for half the food of other restaurants. I go into Boston for Chinese, pay less and get more. Read more
