Your hostess, Gloria, working does not want to do her job and should not be employed at all, very rude and lies to people when... calling she would rather sit and play on her phone, with the volume all the way up. We had to get seated by a waitress after thebartender told them, she was too busy talking to the one group in the restaurant. The waitress only wants to take care of onetable at a time and never introduced herself. While waiting 20 minutes to have soup brought out while watching a table that camein 10 minutes after us get their salads in 2 minutes. We got to listen to Gloria answer the phone twice with an attitude beforeanswering then when asked to take a to go order she told them that they would need to call back we're not doing that yet andthat the restaurant is busy and not ready, there was only my party and one other, the restaurant is empty! Service is very slowand all food didn't come out at once, very awkward having one person eating while the rest are watching. Then we hear thewaitress telling another waitress that came in she closed the dining room doors because it's too busy... TWO TABLES is TOO BUSY!Gloria answered another call after waiting til the last ring to then slam it on the receiver. All 3 of the bacon cheddar burgerswere missing the bacon. The other table had to send the steak special back THREE TIMES due to it being completely raw in thecenter and they only offered to take the coffee off the bill for the inconvenience, they told her to return it because theycan't eat it and they don't want it. There ended up being women yelling outside and Gloria ran off to watch and everyone elseleft the phone ring without answering, multiple calls. The business is probably only surviving off the bar and the bartendersbecause the waitress and hostess are horrible and do not care! After driving around for about an hour on a busy, Saturday evening, we called ahead and spoke to the hostess who explained that... while there was a 30 minute wait, she would try to seat us right away. When we arrived, she held our seats and we were able tosit down right away despite the restaurant being busy and despite that they don?t do reservations. Once we were seated, we had agreat waitress (Geralyn) who was very personable and kind. When we got our food, it was absolutely amazing! We had lobsterravioli, seafood risotto, and stuffed shrimp. Always a great experience here. We go there with our fraternity group once per year and almost fill the place. They're always... very accommodating. We have our cocktail hour in the bar area which is quick, friendly and efficient, then over to the diningarea for dinner. Though it's usually difficult to serve a group at one time, they do a great job here while being friendly andefficient. The food is always amazing and fresh while being very reasonably priced. Not a fancy place, casual dress is finebut a wonderful meal. Read more
My family and I come here every year and usually love it. The outside seating is comfortable and nice so we always opt to sit... there. We sat there as usual and were instantly met with sub par service. We decided to get the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer,which was an outrageous $15 for only four shrimp and very average sauce. Then came the meals. My mom and dad both got the $60Dublin Lawyers expecting a big meal. My sister and I both got the hanger steaks. The Lawyers were absolute rip-off?s. They wereboth drowned in sauce with minimal seafood, and the seafood that was in it required your hands to eat, which was an absolutemess. How hard is it to take the tails off the shrimp beforehand? Complete scam. And the steaks weren?t great either. They werecooked fine but lacked flavor and were quite fatty. They were also surrounded with possibly the most putrid tan paste thattasted like something from a dumpster, which threw off the entire dish. When we were finally finished eating, my dad?s beer thathe had ordered 15 minutes prior finally came and was barely cold. On top off all of that, it was very expensive in the end. Wontbe returning. Came from out of town visiting family and wanted to try this place. There are so many good restaurants in this area and we... haven?t tried Gregory?s yet. Menu looked awesome. Lots of options, little bit of something for everyone. We came in around 8pm (2 hrs before close and got sat by 845) place was packed and they were on a wait. Thought that was a good sign..wrong = .. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was really good but our dinner entrees were terrible. By the time we ordered and got our food itwas around 930, which was towards the end of the night. I feel like they rushed making our food and just wanted to get out ofthere. Flounder on the seafood combo had absolutely no seasoning on it and was veryyy undercooked, almost looked raw. Theflounder pasta dish had no flavor and the fish was also undercooked, and the stuffed shrimp was actually a crab cake with fourshrimp stuffed in it. Sounded good when the server explained it to me, but it had absolutely no flavor and was an extremelysmall portion. Our appetizer was bigger than the actual stuffed shrimp entree. If you?re hungry I definitely wouldn?trecommend ordering that dish. Two of us got mashed potatoes as our side and they were super dry, and the other person gotseasoned rice that looked like it had been sitting in a pan since the time they opened. We were all disappointed. We werelooking forward to our dinners. Kinda sad that the best part of our $25-$30 seafood dinners were our salads that came withthem. I will however say that our server was great. Didn?t catch her name. Very attentive and knew the menu. Host was alsovery nice. I am also a server and have been for 14 years, I understand that our server doesn?t make the food and this was outof her control. 10/10 on the service and customer service, 2/10 for the food. First time here... Sat at a high top on the bar side of the establishment, Marissa was our server. She did a fabulous job with... knowing the menu and recommending items. My entree was the scallops that came with sautéed spinach and I had the side of mashedpotatoes with it. Came with a house salad and I got blue cheese as my dressing. My mother got the lobster ravioli entree toppedwith shrimp and got Italian dressing with her included house salad. We absolutely LOVED everything we ate. Definitely will bereturning! Read more
