The use of group punishment for minor shortcomings is an unfair way of running a store. A fellow comrade was apparently kicked... out due to the actions of one of their colleagues, and this is an unjust handling of the situation. I understand what you'retrying to do in terms of creating a good customer experience, but this is not a good way to go about it. One star. Read more
One of the nicest grocery stores I?ve been too, wide variety of selection. Highly recommend
Always clean, well stocked and generally a pleasant place to shop. Be mindful of high traffic times because of line wait times.... Saturday afternoons, Sunday mornings and a little rush all week from 4 to 6 p.m.. Otherwise, great place for a variety of items,especially the deli and meat departments. Recently visited this store because my regular Giant Eagle in Tanglewood was closed at 9pm and saw they stayed open until 10pm.... Was very disappointed and upset to find out upon checking out at the register with a cashier that I had to pay for paper bags.The lady ringing up my groceries didn't even say anything about it until I had already started bagging items (2 bags in and Ihad double bagged them because they aren't very sturdy bags). I was like when they start doing that because they don't at myGiant Eagle. Now mind you we did get the memo they were switching over to paper, getting rid of plastic, but my location inTanglewood hasn't started yet because they're still trying to get rid of all the plastic bags 1st. The cashier lady then told meit was a new law in Cuyahoga County. Well I told her I don't live in Cuyahoga I live in Geauga county. And we were never toldthat Giant Eagle would be changing foe paper. They don't at the Getgo, right next to our GE store,who has already switched overto paper. I began to pay for my groceries and because I was paying with an ebt card the cashier said because of that she wasn'tgonna charge me for the bags and removed the charges. I definitely will not be coming back here anytime soon unless I have to.I'm on a budget and definitely can't afford to pay extra for thoes flimsy paper bags. Read more
This is by far the best Giant Eagle in a 50+ mile radius. They have amazing selection of produce, breads, meat, bakery, dairy... and an excellent selection of beers and liquor. You can find many different types of beer including craft beers as well as ahuge selection of liquor with unique finds! The meat counter also has a large selection of meats including their own dry-agedbeef. We went on New Years eve and the place was packed! So much so that several people stopped us as we walked in to let usknow how packed it was inside. What's funny is once you get in it didn't really seem that packed at all. Although the checkoutlines were very long they also moved very fast. Thank you for being so organized and efficient! I was ready to walk out afterthose comments but because they don't jam pack every single aisle and/or opening in the store with displays it was still apleasant experience. I know, it's Giant Eagle, but this store is particularly well-run, clean, and the staff are helpful. Great selection, prices are... decent. Full liquor agency AND a Starbucks in-store. I really like the produce department and olive bar. Plus the bakery isexcellent. They really took safety seriously during the pandemic, and ramped up their delivery and pick-up services. Great great store, lots to choose from when shopping for various items, from groceries flowers, deli, bakery, meat, seafood... wine, liquor store and even a cafe with drinks. The salad bar is great for lunch or dinner. Customer service is always greathere as well. They even have staff who can help you with cooking suggestions from a family to large party. Nice clean Market District. Looks of flowers for Mother's day. Staff were friendly. Store was tidy and well stocked. Very quick... to walk in, grab a couple items, use the self check out (was very clean), and be on my way. Read more
