While the service was WONDERFUL (really, the service was nothing short of great), the atmosphere great, and the decor cute and... quirky, with a beautiful patio to boot, I was SO disappointed with my experience. We started out strong with the elote starter,which was delicious, and made me look forward to my main meal. However, I was confused from the moment my Scampi Risotto was setin front of me. The whole meal was too hot, nearly burning my mouth, and made me suspicious that it had been microwaved.Furthering that idea, the shrimp inside was tough and fishy, and the supposed clumps of scallops were smaller than a dimearound, and so tough they were like beef jerky. In addition, there was supposedly saffron in the meal, but all I managed totaste was badly thawed fish, and there was a POOL of oil/grease in the corner of my dish. After taking a few bites, I decidedthere was no reason to suffer the dish, and had to wait for our server to come back and ask how the meal was. In that time, Irealized that while the dish itself tasted like the water from a frost bitten and badly thawed bag of fish, my breath now REEKEDof garlic and the taste was thick on my tongue. My husband, who also sampled the dish, had a carbonara that was passable, butextremely watery from the addition of too much pasta water to the dish (we suspect). Most upsetting, when we got home, both ofus fell ill, with sore stomachs, unspeakable bathroom trips, and for me, a migraine. After warning my friends/family about notgoing here, my brother informed me that he had several coworkers who had similar 'miserable' experiences. Such a bummer. I'dbeen looking forward to going here for weeks, and would have loved to go back and sample the cocktails and maybe try a differentdish/chef, but getting sick is a line I do not cross. I am still smiling from our first dinner at Elle last night. We felt cared for from the moment we entered until we left. The... staff were helpful and genuine. The cocktails were memorable, the appetizers unique (loved the eggplant fritters), and theentrees prepared perfectly. (Try the branzino!) We concluded the evening with yummy desserts and coffee. Ugh, I have wanted to try this spot for some time now and... UGH.. Server was awesome! Cocktails were amazing (once they... corrected them) and the food was okay. I have a dairy thing and the specials were 100% non- negotiable. The rest of the menu wasalso severely limited to any type of changes. Would I return if invited, yes. On my own, no. There are other establishments andChefs that can adapt in the area. In summary if you can eat directly off a menu, this is a fantastic establishment. Wonderful evening at Elle tonight. Our first time there. The bartenders were knowledgeable, informative and so nice. Marcus our... server was great! The food was delicious! I had the halibut market special. My husband had risotto with scampi and scallops. Ourparty of 8 thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Very relaxed, not rushed. Lovely brunch - fun, funky decor with great service. We went for brunch - loads of options and loved the decor. Oversized... chandeliers hang above brightly colored teal walls, fun leather chairs and lounge style seating. Can?t wait to go back fordinner and sit out in their patio. Read more

What a cool place! Owner's Izzy and Jay really know how to satisfy clients with a comfortable, chic atmosphere, highly-trained... staff, and courteous service. I wondered about the parking for this place, but it's plentiful in back. The bar has a greatselection, especially as far as bourbons. Several vegetarian options including a margherita pizza, a muchroom pizza, an amazingacorn squash entree, plus they had a killer tomato-lentil soup the night I picked up carryout.
