I have been going to Alfonso's of La Jolla since they opened in a back room of Jose's Mexican Restaurant on Herschel St in La... Jolla in 1971. It is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. Their food is wonderful and they have great margaritas. The staff is veryfriendly and accommodating. Their new location is nice because it is suited for large gatherings and social happy hours. When hemakes an appearance, Alfonso, himself, goes around to each customer and greats them. I highly recommend trying this place. Youwill not be disappointed. Thank you Alfonso. Read more
