Reviews for Socorro Springs Restaurant in Socorro, NM
I stopped in thinking I was eating at a brewery...because the sign out front says it's a brewery. We'll, it's not a brewery. ... In fact, they have nothing on tap, and the few bottled beers I was interested in, they were out of. My friend ordered a Pepsi, and it had no carbonation. Now I will say the pizza was pretty darn tasty, just bring your own drinks. Read more
Despite the signs outside, this is not a brewery. Service is slow and disjointed. Lots of unhappy faces among patrons, of whom... there are few. The food is bland at best. Read more
I was passing through Socorro, on a trip down from Colorado to do some camping and it was pretty disappointing for a lot of... reasons. I'm really not surprised that the sign out front reads "property and business for sale". I spoke to some locals andapparently who ever manages it also had another resturant that went under. If you're from out of state, skip this place and saveyour money for something worthwhile. Read more
I read most of the reviews about this place, and caught my attention the reviews about the owner and his son. So yep I didn't... had the same experience. The owner himself and his son help me with my food and drinks, no cocky just proud of his kitchen andworkers( defending his employees????????)don't blame him. GREAT FOOD, this will definitely be a place to stop by again.RECOMMEND Read more
This place has the potential to be great but right now it's meh kind of place. The positive s, the lady who waited on us was... sweet. Very timid but kind. Of it weren't for her, if rate them a two. Also, the environment is pleasant. The problemshowever, were many. Most notable was the hour waiting for the food after ordering In a restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered twosmall pizzas, one got burger/fries and one for a Reuben. We didn't ask for any modifications and it still took an hour afterordering. Once we got the food, they forgot the cheese on the Rueban and the basil on the margherita pizza. Both pizzas werebarely cooked and limp. Not raw but barely done. I'm glad it wasn't burnt, but it sure would be nice if the crusts had been atleast slightly golden brown. I'm not a big salt user, but we all had to salt to add flavor. I don't think I've ever added saltto a pizza. The burger too was flavorless, but at least it was cooked right. The Fries are fries. Nothing special, but notbad. I'm hoping it was just that day but disappointed at the moment. Read more

I am a avid beer drinker and I love tying new beers. I stopped into here because its sign said there was a brewery. Sadly,... however, they do not brew beer anymore. It is still a nice place to come grab a beer and some food. For how small socorro is,they have a pretty decent beer selection. The food is pretty good also. They have happy hour from 4-6 min-thurs as well asvarious other deals during the week. See the attached photos. I ended up going here twice in the 5 days I was in town. It wasvery convenient for me to walk to as my hotel was right next door. I would recommend if you are in town, stopping by and havinga drink. Read more
Food was fine but service was dismal. Cooks and some other employee (manager or owner) standing around and gossiping about women... they've slept with recently. Servers were rude. Certainly not an experience worth $70 for 3 lunch meals! Read more
