My family and I had the unfortunate experience of having to meet the rudest hostess I?ve ever met. Incredibly unfortunate as... I?ve visited this restaurant hundreds of times and as a season pass holder for both snow and bike park; I visit over 30 days ayear. We always order big meals complete with drinks, appetizers and deserts. However, that is now in question with the ball inyour court, Foxfire Grill. Your hostess wouldn?t seat us because the fourth member of our party was parking his car (3 min fromarriving) and she said she could care less if we go somewhere else but getting a table at her restaurant was not going to happenunless she could physically see every member of our party. We told her we know what he wants and will gladly place his order forboth food and drink? it didn?t matter. She said she could care less. It was 5pm on 5-29-22 and there were only 4 other tablesseated. A good hostess would have seated a party of 3 knowing that they take up the same amount of space as a party of 4? samesize table. However there was NO option to be seated and realistically, she was looking for reasons to turn people away. We cameto found out run-ins with her are a common occurrence. Foxfire Grill, I?ve been your customer for years and while you may notpersonally know me, I promise I?ve been a terrific customer. I plan to return to your restaurant BUT, if I see that hostess(worked on 5-29-22) serving in any capacity in your restaurant, I?ll not spend a dime in your establishment and I?ll gladly telleveryone I meet about our experience. I went to this place twice while at Snowshoe with my daughter during the week. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch... was good but ok service. Almost like they did not care if you were there or not. For dinner, went there and it was gettingcrowded and ended up waiting for a few minutes for a table despite the fact that there were several ready and vacant. Outwaitress was very good, kind and attentive given the place was getting more crowded by the minute. Both time the food was goodbut I will call out the chicken fried steak. It was fantastic. My daughter had the roast beef and said it was really good aswell. Read more

The food was bad. service was bad. our waiter argued with us and told us we should?ve mentioned the burnt pizza prior to the end... of the meal which we informed her we would?ve if she had come by once after the food was received and tasted. the pizza satthere untouched after it was proven to be inedible. Probably our favourite restaurant in the village. Ate here twice on a 3 night mtb trip and left totally satisfied. The hostess... is wonderful, the servers were friendly and knowledgeable of what they served and what craft beer they had! (That was a plus inour books) The portions of food were a good size and absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend the pork shank and bbqsalmon! The view of the mountains was stunning! Indoor and outdoor seating offered. If you eat at the bar you do t have to waitto be seated. They have a few tables with high chairs by the bar where you order food with the bartender, they are not waitedon. Small takeout menu. Good selection of craft beer. If you?re a craft beer lover, go for the black IPA! They get pretty fullquickly so go early. Read more

Not a bad spot at all. It was packed in July as there just isn't a lot open that time of year. I don't think they haven't A/C... as it was quite warm in the dining room. Food was decent Nothing to brag about, but nothing horrible. Read more

In the summer, this restaurant has no competition in Snowshoe (everything else is closed). There are very few vegetarian options... besides the starch heavy sides. The service was really good. We had to wait 20-30min for a table but they were spot on ?comeback in 20-30 min? and seated us. Our server, Ron, was great. He was very patient with menu questions, refilled our waterfrequently, did not rush or pressure us to order more or eat faster, and provided us helpful travel recommendations. The friesare bad. The pulled pork is good. Read more
