Reviews for Sundae - Snowmass in Snowmass Village, CO

They are not peanut and treenut friendly. AT ALL. Potential cross contamination is inevitable even in places that take them... seriously. So imagine going into here and seeing all the scoops in the same water, refusing to open a new container to scoopfrom. And peanut and treenut items right next to standard flavors. It takes five minutes and a low budget to make somewhere nutallergen friendly. Seperate the scoops. Use a designated scooper for nut items and instruct your Staff to open a new container. There is no ?just go somewhere else? when most everywhere else, doesn?t put fourth an effort either. Frustrating to say theleast since they are in an area that?s all about food accommodations when it comes to GF, vegan. Read more

Not allergy friendly. I have a tree nut allergy and was told they can?t open a fresh container to scoop from. Too bad, it looked... really good! Read more

My recent was as great as my first. The ice cream is out of this world delicious and to know the ingredients are fresh and... homemade makes it that much better. Fun note: every thing they serve is compostable. Read more

Awesome staff and awesome ice cream! I was having an absolutely awful day due to various life stressors and to top it off my... kids were both just being totally uncooperative all day. I managed to bribe a few minutes of good behavior on the promise thatwe would go get ice cream at Sundae. Problem is we live in Basalt so it?s a bit of a schlep but I figured it would be worth itbecause we all needed a pick me up today. But when we got there at 3:30 it was already closed ???? luckily for me the youngwoman cleaning up saw me and she must have just known how much I needed any kind of win today because she offered to get the icecream for us despite it taking time away from her packing up. I wish I would have asked her name because she really doesn?t knowhow much this small act of kindness really turned my day around, when I really needed it! So, whoever was working the afternoonshift in SMV on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 - THANK YOU! This has been a rough day/ month/ year and it?s been so easy to getdiscouraged and your willingness to help me, even just to get ice cream when I?m having a rough day, has really made a massivedifference. Thank you! Read more

Great place! Decently priced I ordered a $6.50 caramel brownie sundae but switched the caramel for chocolate syrup. It was... amazing -vanilla and chocolate ice creams, pretzel pieces coated in chocolate, I think, brownie pieces, whipped cream, cherryand oh my goodness, the chocolate syrup. Literally the best i have ever eaten. Deep, dark and delicious. Pops had a chocolatedipped sugar cone with vanilla and that was also excellent?the little shared with me. Also, do not eat at the crepe placenearby. Terrible waste of dinero. Read more

We had the seasonal sundae, which was "Peaches and Cream" (shown) and a double-scoop of toasted coconut and cheesecake in waffle... cone - all absolutely delicious! My only regret is that we didn't come here sooner in our trip so that we could try moreflavors. 7/5 stars. Read more
