I don?t like how now instead of being greeted and seated , you order at a kiosk then sit down. Technology is taking jobs these... days by taking away cashier/ servers My food was ok mediocre but it?s Steak ?n Shake so what do you expect . I go here often and usually don't experience any problems but tonight my order was not correct. I ordered a combo/w fries and a... side order of onion rings. I didn't get the fries ????. Hopefully they can make it up to me someway. Read more
Very disappointing. We came here for a meal after a movie. Everyone at the table got steakburger and fries. I ordered a chili.... Each meal was $5. The burger meals were satisfactory. My chili however was about a half a cup of chili. I went to speak to themanager and asked if I could get more than that. He said no. Then I asked if I could get a burger and fries instead. He said no.Everyone at the table agreed that I got a bad deal. The restaurant really stinks inside. Very sour smelling. Don't get thechili. Went home hungry! Read more
Best steak n shake I've had in awhile...my most recent experiences at other locations over past few years has been... disappointing. Seems the patty melt is gone and only Frisco melt now? Good enough, I suppose. While convenient, the touch padordering and lack of servers kills the diner feel a bit. Read more
The drive thru experience was great. I went today 8/24/2022 around 630pm. I ordered two double steak burgers and two fries. I pulled up to the drive thru at 11.50. The car in front of me pulled forward. I was at the spot to place my order. I waited... cause I thought they were busy. And waited & waited & waited. Finally I pulled up to the window & the young man said "we closeat 12. Which I replied I've been here since 11.50 waiting to place my order. He then walked away. I was furious. I work as aserver in a local restaurant. We must take orders til 1.59 if we close at 2. Don't know why I couldn't get served. I never getto this steak n shake because of the distance. Since I was close I was so happy to come here. Thanks steak n shake for forproving me right once again. Prices go up & wages go up but the customer service gets worse all the time. Big business saved labor $ by closing 15 min early. At the price of a disappointed fan and hundreds of thousands of of people reading ur reviews.Was it really worth it. Think about it. Went to this location after work yesterday. First thing me and my coworker noticed was the awful smell. They forgot about our... milkshakes. They had to confirm on the receipt which ones we had ordered. The wait was long. And after all of this, the foodwasn't even good. By far the worst burger I have ever eaten. Fries were ok. Ordered a garlic steak burger with an extra patty. With a large cheese fry. Didn't get and garlic spread on bun or sprinkled... with garlic like supposed to. Told tough cookies. And my cheese fry hardly had any cheese on them. I've been coming to thislocation since it opened. Each time in the last 3 years I have been less and less please.
