First time visiting Escovitchez and will definitely be back. The appetizer AMAZING! I had the curry chicken which was really... good. My daughter had the signature island pasta w/ shrimp which was awesome. We are foodies and each weekend we try a newrestaurant and are usually disappointed with the lack of flavor, presentation and creativity of the dish. This restaurant hasraised the bar. I visited this place on a Saturday night and it was great. They have a full bar, Dj playing music, a great ambiance, a very... clean venue, and most importantly good tasting food. All the staff were really nice. They have two gender neutral bathrooms thatwere very clean. I ordered a small plate of wings which I assumed was what they meant by appetizers but they came out the sametime as my dinner so I?m not sure perhaps I misunderstood the menu. I ordered the taste of Jamaica and my husband ordered thegoat. It was all yummy! They did bring around warm bread and butter for free which was really nice. Had I known I probablywould?ve skipped the wings but I took them home and at them the next day and they were still delicious (kind of on the sweetside). I will warn it does get pretty loud where it is difficult to hear the person sitting across from you. I came with mytoddler and opted to sit outside so that the noise would be less. I think they ended up turning off the speaker where we werewhich was nice because we didn?t ask them to. Outside they have screens to block out bugs which was nice. I don?t usually sitoutside but I would again here. We will definitely be back! The vibe inside was really nice people were dancing and singing tothe songs the Dj mixed. I ordered the Taste of Jamaica Platter, and everything was perfectly crafted. Curry goat delicious and addictive. Oxtail was... scrumptious. Plantains delightful. Everything about my Friday night at Escovitchez was pure delight. A DJ added to the greatnessof my evening. Wonderful experience! Overall, had a good time. So much warmth from the staff and the ambiance of the restaurant. Would... recommend this restaurant for any event. This was a different spin on a Jamaican island cuisine. Honestly, great location. It'sfine dining Jamaican spot!!! Good music and vibes. On top of feeling welcomed the food was greet and filling. The food was great. Everything was delicious. The music added to the ambiance. This restaurant have excellent food and customer... service. No complaints, the food was hot, tasty, and the presentation was great. Escovitchez surpassed my expectations being aJamaican myself. I would recommend to every and anyone. I have no complaints. Appetizers hot and fresh the ackee spring rolls ,blow wow shrimp, cauliflower was delicious. Fish even... though we were told they were small was actually pretty big. Gotta try the rosemary ginger snapper the flavor is just yummy. Thebread pudding desert is scrumptious ????. Service was good as well.
