This was by far the worst food I have ever had. My husband ordered the country-fried steak it was fried to a crisp. He said he... could have used it as a weapon. The food was barely warm. The potatoes tasted like they were left over from the day before.The service was fast but it was only1 other family in the restaurant. We also had unwanted guests at our table. Flies wereeverywhere. Our bill was 32 dollars and some change but when the waitress brought our receipt the bill had jumped up to 34dollars and some change. Pass this place on by. John and Janine Dasnoit. Read more
The food was ok at best our waitress was very pleasant. What they don?t tell you is if you pay by card there is a 4% increase on... your bill, we were told this as she handed us our bill so we were stuck with the surcharge really would of been nice knowingthis ahead of time. I don?t believe this should or is legal telling a person after the fact that their bill is really going tobe higher then the amount on the check. Not a place we will be returning. Read more
Came here later in the day for brunch. We came an hour and 15 mins before closing which I can understand is not ideal when... closing in an hour but as a restaurant you should not shut down your fryers an hour before close. After we ordered we were toldwe could not get what we had originally ordered due to them closing kitchen equipment. And the flies! Geez the flies are insanein this place. Also while here someone had the poor customers turn off their open sign at 1:25 for them even though they closeat 2. What seemed to be the owner was yelling at the employees, in the kitchen for closing the kitchen too early. When paying mybill I was charged a credit card fee which I don?t even know how is possible. This is a good local place for a nice and filling breakfast. They are attached to a candy and ice cream store so be careful if... you venture in with kids. Service was good and the food was as you want it from the diner with some nicer finishes. Coffee washot, and the atmosphere was light and pleasant. Read more
Great breakfast food! I had the 2 egg combo with home fries added and my wife had the eggs Benedict. Both were cooked to... perfection. Their menu has all the standard breakfast items plus a few unique ones. Orders of chocolate milk come topped withwhipped cream and sprinkles. Good to know ahead of time if ordering for kids in case you want opt out of the toppings. Fairwarning on the service! Expect to wait? for everything? if visiting on a weekend. This restaurant still seems to be feeling theeffects of short staffing like most others in the area, and the high traffic can quickly overwhelm the servers. Great prices and friendly staff. The food was okay, all toppings for waffles and omelette were added after cooking. I prefer the... blueberries to be cooked into the waffles so I didn't even eat the berries. I would probably return if I really wanted breakfastfood. Read more
Irish Benedict at House of Breakfast. Just had it. Was very good. Good size portion. Restaurant only had a few customers in... it when I was just there. Waitress was prompt and efficient. First of all, the service was amazing! I had the French toast that was deliciously seasoned, crunchy on the outside soft on the... inside with a flavor that burst in your mouth. The hash browns were to die for! Crispy on the outside soft on the inside and soflavorful! The sausage links and the eggs were good as well. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Makana was the best!! Sofriendly, so helpful and just wonderful!. And our food came out extremely quickly. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! We werehere around 9:00 on a Friday morning so there was no wait and there was no crowd. I would definitely come back with loads offriends LOL!! Read more
