Delightful place with excellent food. I had Lamb Samoas, (hand held dough triangles filled with ground lamb and herbs.) ALSO,... vegetable Jal Frasie. Deliciously wonderful flavors, not spicy at all at a level 2. , chao tea and milk doughnuts for dessert. Will be coming back often. Read more

What a delightful find! We were traveling through and stopped for dinner. It was delicious! Not as heavy as some Indian food can... be. Food was served quickly but definitely home made by someone who knew what they were doing. Server was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend you don't miss this experience! Read more

I got the buffet. It was fresh. This place has a lot of mix reviews so I went to decide for myself. They are very friendly and... like most review they definitely have a take out crowd. To me the food was good. If you are reading reviews I would definitelytry it out. I believe you will not regret it. Read more

I have good news about the Curry House restaurant in smyrna. Their buffet is back from Tuesday through Sunday. I ate there on... Friday and the food is tastier than ever. An update to my 4 year old review. Here it is in March 2022, we just ate at the CurryHouse in Smyrna Tn. And I think the food is even better than in December 2017. Naz the proprietor is so warm and welcoming. Heis only doing the buffet 3 or 4 days a week. Check his web page for the days. I I had the lunch buffet Wednesday 12/13/17, andit was perfect. I have been eating Indian food for about 40 years , so I know delightful from not so good. Let me say theirbuffet lunch is delightful! I enjoyed it so much I brought my wife for lunch Thursday 12/14/17. What is different is the cooksuse of spices. Indian food is about blends of spices to build flavors. Their cook is a second to none in the flavor department. We both loved it and are , just hours later , planning our return. If you are new to Indian food trust me and try the CurryHouse. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with great Indian music playing, it is clean, and most important to my wife thefood on the buffet is Hot. You won't be disappointed... Read more

I have ordered lamb curry. When I first looked at it, I thought they sent rasam by mistake but nope, it was the lamb curry... mixed with a big glass of water . I wish I could find an option to upload the video to show how bad it was. The taste was notgood too. I am very disappointed. Read more

I got the saag chicken, a garlic naan, and the vegetable samosas. Everything was delicious. I used the naan to scrub every drop... of curry out of the container. On another note they package everything so that your food is as fresh as possible by the time youget home. Rice was still steaming and the samosas we're very crispy. I will be back! Read more

Because it's in the Publix strip, the parking is plenty and well lit. The interior is very clean and nice. It's less vibrant... than other Indian spots, but we were welcomed warmly and seated. We were, I believe, the only ones to dine in. They did appearto have regular takeaway orders going out. We started with aloo tikki and vegetable pakora. These vegetable pakora were onpoint: just the right amount of spiced and crispy! The aloo tikki were a little different than I'm used to, but I liked them. They reminded me of the mashed potato cakes my grandmother would sometimes make but merged with Indian spices. They were reallygood, though they looked a bit overcooked. They did not taste overcooked at all. Our entrees were lamb vindaloo, chicken sag,and vegetable korma with a garlic naan. The garlic naan was delicious and compared to other local restaurants. The vegetablekorma was kind of bland and a little... Greasy feeling in the mouth. It was almost like there was a lot of butter, and I feltthe flavor was lacking. The lamb vindaloo was very good. The lamb was tender and the spice level, though a little lower thanexpected, was good. I am accustomed to vindaloo with a little more punch, but that could also have been the reduced spicelevel. The star of the meal, for me, was the chicken sag! The chicken was moist and tender, the sauce was so very good, and thespice level was on point. I really could have eaten the whole portion of that. Which gets me to the portions. They seemed small, which went with the lower prices. Whereas we usually order less and take home more, we also usually spend more. This is, Ithink, a reasonable trade. You'll find the bill near the end with the menu photos. All in all, it's worth a visit! Read more
