This was my first time eating at Chicken Salad Chick. The portion size was a bit small for my suppertime appetite and would... probably work best for lunchtime. I ordered a Fancy Nancy: one ice cream scoop of chicken salad made with Fuji apples, seedlessgrapes, & pecans. For my side, I ordered Grape Salad: which consists of Red & white seedless grapes covered in a sweet creamcheese mixture, topped with brown sugar & crushed pecans. Upon opening the container, I found one ice cream scoop of chickensalad sitting on a green lettuce leaf, red and green grapes with cream cheese sauce, and something like ten crackers plus a dillpickle wedge. After eating, I felt like I had just had a yummy snack. I?m torn between 3 and 4 stars. The food was good. I chose 3 stars because it took quite a bit for them to get the order... right. Let?s start with the menu, there is a salad on the menu called Buffalo Barclay. I ordered 2 classic BLT sandwich, and onescoop of Buffalo Barclay. My husband and I had to pick up our child from daycare and we literally only stopped because there wasNO line. We figured it?s chicken salad something quick and easy. We checked the food and there was a thin plain chicken saladand a broccoli salad. Now, I?m in a hurry but I have to turn around. The drive thru was packed by now. I figured this is an easyfix. I?ll go inside. I had to correct the order as I see them making it at least 3 times. It was a simple classic BLT with ascoop of Buffalo Barclay. Part of the issue is the broccoli salad I?m assuming sounds similar to the Barclay. I couldn?t figureout where they got broccoli from in my order, but they tried to put it on my plate multiple times. This location has only been in business for a few months, however, the service and food were just as good as other more... established stores. I was very happen with my Fancy Nancy chicken salad sandwich and brocolli salad. Yum! As an added bonus, thebuilding and bathrooms were also very clean. Read more
Where to start. I loved it. The energy was new and fresh, decorated cute. Bathrooms were clean (didn?t smell at all!)... appropriate signage everywhere in the restaurant (employees wash hands, hours of operation, exit signs etc). I will admit themenu was a little intimidating just because I had no clue what I was getting into. the cashier did offer me to try differentflavors of chicken salad but didn?t sell me on any. I wish she had told me her favorite to give me a starting point.. but! Inthe end I ordered a chicken salad BLT classic CAROL with side of fruit. Fruit was extremely fresh- not mushy which Iappreciated. My son had turkey club side of Mac and cheese, my husband ordered the chick Dixie chick side of broccoli saladscoop of Lynne. The broccoli salad was AMAZING as was the lynne(I?m a huge onion fan)!!!! Each name has a flavor. Mine wasclassic, it was good, don?t get me wrong but once I tried my husbands who ordered Lynne (onion chicken salad) I couldimmediately tell I should have tried something other than the classic! I later purchased a scoop of jalapeño holly?. By far thebest!! Although (I only tried 3). Out of the 3 I tried I loved the jalapeño holly, has a kick to it. (Again to emphasize- ALLthe flavors I tried were great! )My son loved his sandwich. He?s a tough critic because he usually orders chicken tenders orburger and fries but he asked to go again to CSC the next day! He was a fan of his sandwich. I recommend this place as it?s notjust for ?chicks? my boys are fans of this place too!! Ps THEY EVEN HAVE A DRIVE THRU!!! Oh! I can?t forget their drink station-phenomenal. I have gone to this Chicken Salad chick a few times now. The first couple of times it was okay. The employees didn't seem to... know what was going on and we're confused with orders and there were only a few customers there. This last time my husband wentthrough the drive-thru and he said the same things. He waited for 20mins before even getting to order and there were 2 carsahead of him. And when he got to the window the employees seemed to be milling around aimlessly. There were a lot of employeesbut no one was really doing anything. I have never had a problem with the food until this last time. My sandwich was good butthe Mac and cheese was disgusting it had a brownish tint to it, the noodles were mashed in pieces and it smelled off. The scoopof fancy Nancy I had didn't seem quite right either but I couldn't put me finger on it. Not sure if I'll go back to thislocation it may be better to go to the Murfreesboro one. Read more
