I was looking for some place new to try in the area I stumbled upon this gem. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pasta and a... chocolate chip coconut cookie for dessert. Everything was phenomenal!! Twisted Kitchen is a customizable pasta bar, where you can choose your proteins, pasta shape, sauce(s), and add-ons. There are a... few franchises throughout Atlanta, but I was especially excited to see them open one up here on South Cobb, which seems to be ahaven for every single fast food operation imaginable. Twisted Kitchen seems to be the healthier answer to all the Del Tacos,Krystals, and Krispy Kremes variety of food that pockmark this busy road (though if you walk down the road to get a doughnutdessert, I'm sure that's enough steps to count as exercise). I went with a cavatappi pasta (rice noodles available for thoseseeking gluten-free options) with Beyond Meat sausage (tofu also available for vegetarians). I believe a standard order allowsyou to add four toppings from the mix-ins bar, which includes various vegetables and cheeses. When I couldn't choose between themarinara and Alfredo sauce, the woman preparing my order helpfully directed me to a lovely third option with a perfectly pinkhue that had clearly been prepared for indecisive folks like me. Then it was time for them to prepare the meal in a saucepanright before my eyes. My husband's order turned out to be a little lukewarm, and they were nice enough to not only offer toreheat it, but prepare the order from scratch (we didn't want them to, but felt touched that they'd even be willing to doso). At custom-made joints like this one, it's hard to rate the food because it's really up to how well you choose the flavorsthat work for you. But as far as the quality of ingredients and preparation, I'd say everything was tasty enough. We alsoselected a side order of Caesar salad from the prepared-and-packaged section that was a great accompaniment to our meal, but Ithought it was a little overpriced for the amount of salad within. OWNER: Get a bottle opener if you are gonna sell glass bottles!!! Same here on a Saturday to eat lunch. Saw it while driving by... to go eat elsewhere, and thought to give this place a try. Good thing we did, cause this place was great! They have a goodvariety bits of pasta options, and are able to build your own options too. They heat it up in front of you too after. Got ourfood, and drinks, and cookies later too. We discovered after getting our drinks that they didn't have a bottle opener. Luckilywe had a way to open it. The food tasted great! Very interesting place! Pasta is the main stay here, you can essentially design your meal. If you want the Lasagna it is... prepared in a skillet with you choice of pasta and seasonings. They also specialize in wraps where they have a wide choice oftypes to choose from... like I chose the Chicken Salad on a white Tortilla ( wheat and spinach are options too.) Very fresh andclean interior atmosphere. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. They have an outside dining area as well. TheLasagna we ordered was very good. We chose bowtie pasta, which was awesome. The Chicken salad wrap came with a pasta salad orchips. The pasta salad was covered in a vinegar and oil and had olives throughout. The wrap was also great.
